"'Hlo." I mumbled in my phone. It was nine in the morning and my phone woke me up by blasting the ringtone.
"Mornin Jay, sorry to wake you up, but I need a favor." Michael said from the other line.
"A favor eh? At nine in the morning?" I nagged.
"Its already eleven Jay." He stated.
Eleven? No way. I looked at my swatch and it was 11:11. But how? I checked my phone again and it also read 11:11, guess my eyes were deceiving me.
"Right. So whats the favor?" I yawned.
"Very attractive." He mumbled. "And I was wondering if you could give me some dance lessons. Like now?"
"Why? Last time I checked, you didn't care for ballroom dancing, buddy." I yawned again.
"My mom is making me go with her to this fancy dinner party at her boss' s mansion and she says that I need to learn how to dance." He said emotionless.
"Don't you have any friends to teach you? Or can't your mom teach you?" I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open.
"My mom is busy with whatever girls do, and all my friends are not in town. Vanessa's in Monte Carlo with her family, Aurèle went to Spain, Maya doesn't dance and its very awkward taking dance lessons from a guy friend so are you gonna get your lazy ass here and please teach me how to dance or not?" He grew impatient and I found it humorous.
"Since your asking me in the kindest way possible... Fine I'll be there in like an hour." I sighed.
"An hour ? But th-." he started to protest but I cut him off.
"Either in an hour or never Michael." He mumbled something but agreed.
I put my phone back in its charger and went out of bed. I finished my morning routine put on some yoga pants and a simple shirt then headed out the room.
Mariana, and to my surprise, Brian were seated on the couch watching Disney, yet I couldn't spot Zoe anywhere.
"Hey babe, hey Brian." I said as I sat next to Maria.
"Mornin." She grinned. "Incase your wondering, Zo is in Adams room."
"He kicked me out of the room. He said that they needed 'privacy' or whatever." Brian rolled his eyes. I giggled.
"So what do you want to do today? The love birds said that they have plans." Maria asked.
"I have plans too. Michael asked me to go over and teach him how to dance 'cause of some dinner his mom is making him go to." I stood up to go get my phone and purse from the room.
"So Brian, it's just you and me. What do you want to do?" I heard Maria ask Brian.
I came back to the living room with my phone and purse and called Jeremy. I told him that I needed him to take me to Michael's, and he said he'll be here in a few minutes.
"Movies?" Brian looked at Maria and she nodded.
"Sounds good." She said.
"Bye loser!" I called out to her as I made my way out the door. I heard her call out a "goodbye" before I closed the door.
I spotted Jeremys car just outside the lobby. He opened the back door for me and I went in. I called Michael and he spoke to Jeremy in french, telling him the directions to his house and fifteen minutes later we arrived.
Michael was on his porch when I walked towards the house. He was wearing sweatpants, a white V-neck shirt and basketball shoes.
"You might crush my feet if you wear those shoes. Let's not forget how bad your dancing skills are." I said slowly.
