Book 1 ~ My Reporter (Miles Upshur x Killer!Reader)

Chapter 2

A/n: I'm so sorry for the stalling on this chapter! I've been quite busy with school lately and haven't been available much. But, here you all are! Please enjoy this shitty chapter written by me <3.

The kiss was broken shortly after, her chapped lips being seperated from his. They stared into eachother's eyes for awhile, her (e/c) eyes circling around Miles'.

She let go of his coat, stepping back as she examined his frightened form. Her insanity faded, "You're not one of us, are you. You're more like an outsider."

His nerves untensed themselves as he tilted his head, "Um...y-yeah. I came here for a strong reason."

(Y/n) smiled, "And what would that reason be?" Her smile was exchanged into a large grin, "Murkoff Co-operation has been hurting people and gaining money from it. I've come here to expose their horrible strategies and put an end to it."

She took in his reason and nodded in agreement, "I see. I've been trapped in her for years now. Fucking Jeremy Blaire threw me in here, I don't blame him I murdered a bunch of people and let my inner demons take over."

Miles gulped, sweat trailing down the side of his handsome face. (Y/n) was intruiged by his handsomeness as she bit her lip.

"I can help you!" She blurted out with enthusiasm, her voice sparking with joyfullness.

Miles cocked his head to one side, "You, want to help, me?" She nodded frantically and smiled, "I'm good at hiding my insanity as you can see."

He nodded, a fearful smile across his face, "So, I know everything about Mount Massive Asylum! I even know where everything is."

Relief and happiness washed over Miles, his stern face brightening, "Great! I just need you to take me to the very bottom floor!"

Her facial expression dropped as he said that, "Y-you mean where the Science labs are and where Billy is..?"

Miles' face twisted, "Billy? Science labs?" (Y/n) nodded firmly, "Yes. Thats also where the Walrider is most active. The Walrider can also be up on these floors too. But, its used to me now, it hasn't hurt me."

Miles was clearly confused. He pondered around different questions as they each flooded his mind.

(Y/n) saw that he was clearly confused. She let out a small laugh as is echoed through the gloomy halls.

This obviously caught someone's attention.

Heavy footsteps were to be heard. (Y/n) peeped her head around the corner, Chris Walker came stomping down the corridor.

She gasped, grabbing Miles' hand. Miles grunted as she practically dragged him down the hallway.

(Y/n) panicked as she rushed into a room, closing the door behind her as quietly as possible, "What!?" Miles shouted slightly.

She slapped her hand over his mouth and lowered her voice, "Shut up! Its Chris Walker! Me and that bastard never get along! He's been trying to kill me for years now!"

Miles' eyes widened as he stared at (Y/n) in fright. He removed her hand from his mouth, "Well, we gotta hide!"

She nodded in agreement as they both frantically searched about the room for a place to hide. The safest place was a small locker located in the corner of the room, "Miles! We need to hide in that locker. It may be a tight fit but its the only chance we have!"

Chris' large and heavy footsteps pounded onto the dirty ground, he seemed to be getting closer, "Fine! Come on then!"

He rushed over to the locker and opened it as he stepped in. Miles grabbed her wrist and yanked her in next to him.

(Y/n) was right, it was a tight fit in there. Their bodies were pushed up against eachothers. His large body cushioned hers.

Pounding on the door began as (Y/n) clinged onto Miles' brown coat. He wrapped his firm arms around her slim body, comforting her.

Chris hit the door enough times as he finally knocked it off of its hinges. He trudged angrily into the rather large room, patrolling it closely.

He came up to the locker, his hot breath slithering through the small slits as Miles and (Y/n) held their breath, waiting to be pursued.
