"Get some lassi." Ravi was way too demanding. Nostalgia had hit Ravi like a big yellow school bus this evening, thus we ended up at an Indian Supermarket,  'Mandi', were he hogged all peculiar sorts of food.

"Aiden my jaan, I miss my country. You should see India." Ravi had a few beers before he started pleading to go back home. At first, I wanted to empathize with him but now he turned out to be extremely difficult to handle; all I wanted to do was punch him where the sun doesn't shine. When I got too tired of all of that, I picked him up and took him back to his temporary home. I have to say for such a skinny boy, Ravi wasnquite the heavyweight. Go to the gym more Aiden.

After I and a few more of our inmates were done dragging passed out Ravi back to the dorm--which itself was no childs work--I decided to fetch myself a cup of cold coffee. Cold coffee was a very complex thing for me. It filled me up with the good vibes and a deep sensation of euphoria; my life turned upside down as I gulped every sip. Somehow, it tasted so different from warm coffee--so much more royal. I was seated at the corner seat facing the campus in the Starbucks at our Alma matter where the view was to die for.

Beyond the ledge upon which the outlet was constructed lay a bright green plain of short and glossy grass. During the summer you could smell the odour of mud from the freshly watered grass; it put all my olfactory senses in alert. Surpassing that was the psychology building, where Ravi spent all of his time considering the fact that he's a psych major. As I continued to gaze out the window, I was entirely oblivious to the fact that someone else had occupied the right right across me.

"Ahem ahem." I turned my head to face my new roommate, Chris Black. He dolled a grey sweatshirt that proclaimed him as a member of a frat house, the logo seemed new to me. He hair was set in a neat quaff with no single strand out of place. What really stood out was the contrast between the colour of the sweatshirt and his green--very green--eyes.

"Hey um ah Chris..." You can say talking is not really my thing and Chris really caught me in a surprise.

"What's up roomie? Heard Ravi had a bit of trouble. Hope he's alright." Chris said that in a very considerate tone; enough for me to warm up a bit. He really was something different with respect to the disinterested lot around here in Kingwell.

" Poor lad just misses home. Don't we all?" I was getting a bit curious to get to know Chris since he seemed as someone who'd be there for me--something I would have use of at that point in time.

" Not all Aiden. Some of us are glad that we're away from home you know? College is a great place. I'm really gonna miss Kingwell. Can you believe we're graduating in some?" His tone had changed from casual conversation to real talk quite soon. I liked how he could make any conversation move forward in such a smooth manner.

" I disagree to disagree, this place has gotten quite homey now. I wonder if I'd really graduate. Even if I do, good Lord knows what on Earth will I do after this" I let out a little chuckle so that Chris doesn't get a hint on how scared am I to step forth into the real world.

He didn't say anything after that; just looked at me- very weirdly. Somehow his eyes had gone greener and his pupils dilated to an unimaginable size which could worry a doctor. His eyes had this sort of complexity in them as if he didn't hear what I said, but understood what I said.
A little smirk had started to form at the side of his mouth which soon turned into a lopsided smile. I wondered about what was he thinking precisely. Now his eyes told an entirely different story. They had a strange expression in them--somewhat like lust. What surprised me was how I, Aiden Grey had the ability to attract someone. Sure I had women buzz around me like bees, but they did that with any decent boy. This one sitting in front of me was looking at me in a way which had a I-just-want-to-get-into-your-pants aura alongside with a I-want-to-build-a-future-with-you one. Boy, did he fascinate me!
