Max's POV

Fire is surrounding me and I see five shadows as we all stand in a circle...

I jolt up from my bed and fall on the ground. I groan as I pick myself and walk over to my closet. I pick out a white undershirt and a leather jacket with some black pants to put on for today. After getting ready I go downstairs to be greeted by my father. My father was a soldier (with a marksman ability THE DOCTOR TURNED AROUND SO HE COULD HAVE DENIABILITY) -can you let me finish!?!- anyway he became a trader after 12 years of service. My father said," We will be going to the market tonight and you will stay home." -(FATHER FIGURE PORQUE?!)-THIS IS THE LAST TIME I DEAL WITH YOUR BULLSHIT!(GREAT NOW I HAVE TO ADD A WARNING! THANKS MAX!) YOU'RE WELCOME! - " Why?", I ask and which he responds with," Because of last time...we can't let you go anymore." Ohhh last time.... that jerk deserves that... I sucker punched him in the face after trying to run with a loaf of bread he had stolen. I have no idea why I got in trouble but whatever. I simply nod and walk out of the door not wanting the conversation to go on.

     It's like burning hot today but nobody cares,I say to myself as I make my way to the Botsford's house. If case you haven't known Ross,the youngest in the household,is my best friend and his parents are both farmers,we hadn't talked in a while so I decided to visit.By the time I see the Botsford's farm it's the afternoon and my legs hurt but despite that I run inside to say hello to whoever was in there. Luckily Ross was standing in there feeding a chicken, named thundermuffin or something like that, I shouted excitedly," Ross! I'm back from the expedition!" He turned around swiftly and ran towards me and hugged me. (.............(づ ᴗ ‿ ᴗ )づ all praise the hug SHUT UP) After a few moments the hug ended and we talked until twilight. " Well it's getting late and I should get back to my house." I said and he responded," Okay. I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" I nod and run out of the barn yelling," Bye!" I hear a goodbye as I run from the barn.

20 minutes later

My parents were already gone once I got back to my house and I was so tired once I opened the door to my room...maybe running wasn't the best option to get back home.I make my way across the room until I spot something shiny in the corner of my room. I turn around and see an orange amulet... I don't remember putting it there but it might be from Mom or Dad. I walk towards it and put it on hesitantly... once I put on the amulet it began to glow and I had a burning sensation in my throat as it's hard to breathe. I struggle to pull the amulet off as I'm gasping for air...but it tightened around my neck... to make the situation worse I hear the front door opening with the words "Honey we're home!", from my mom. I can't say anything back as I start to black out... I hear "Max?" and footsteps climbing the stairs.I feel something warm come from my mouth as I drop to the ground,unconscious.

I wake up in the forest by a hut...

(Okay so this would have came out YESTERDAY but I was too lazy and stuff next one might be out tomorrow night but idk. Also if this appears  (-) along with bold letters it means I have something with something. ANYWAY BYE!)
