The alarm beeped loudly to wake him up but Aiden was already up since a few hours ago. He could not really sleep after the talk with Alicia anyway. His hand reached to turn the obnoxious alarm off, and quickly he got up to look at the mirror.

Other than the slight eyebags he has because of the lacking of sleep, he looks absolutely normal. Does this possibly mean the curse has been taken back?

"Dear lord." Alicia appeared behind him, and she had the horrified look on her face as soon as she saw his face. "You look almost like me!"

"What do you mean? I look normal." He stated, gesturing to the mirror to show Alicia how fine he is but it doesn't calm the ghost down.

"In magical sight, you look almost like a ghost!" She gasped. "We need to do something."

"What should we do?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Maybe we can find my baby before the time and I will surrender to him after, so he reverses the curse." She suggested, trying to wipe the scared look off her face.

Aiden nodded in agreement, satisfied of the suggestion. "Sounds like a plan to me."

Class that day was like usual except that Aiden was worrying about his death. Alicia insisted on giving up to Jason, but he doesn't want to surrender. He was persistent on helping her though the time is so limited, he only has two hours until 6 to find the baby and let Alicia see her before surrendering to Jason.

He couldn't get any sleep last night after knowing his life is going to be finished the next day which is today. Aiden breathed out a sigh. He could never imagine what's death is like if life is already so painful to him.

Mrs Hopkins didn't enter the class yet. And there was no sign of Alicia. Everyone was talking to themselves, some were scrolling on their phones while Aiden was only feeling anxious.

He's scared of dying especially when Dave doesn't have anyone but him. Thinking about how his dad will do without him is making him sad, especially after the conversation they had about his mother's death. He should have listened to him but clearly there is no use to regret it now.

Out of a sudden, all the phones in the class vibrated in unison. Everyone quickly checked the same message they received, and soon enough laughter was filling that class.

"Freak!"

Aiden immediately grabbed his phone to see a video sent to the groupchat of the class. The thumbnail was blurred, but Aiden could see a familiar background on it so he decided to check that out. As soon as he clicked play, his face burned bright red in embarrassment of the kissing clip.

"You're making out with your imaginary friend now, freak? After this what, you're going to bang?"

Teases after teases came out of their mouths and Aiden couldn't handle it anymore. The stress of lacking of sleep and worrying to die are already overwhelming him, now their insults are not making it any better for him.

"Pathetic!"

Everyone was starting to mock him. They were puckering their lips to the air and making kissing noise, then laughed to themselves.
