Today wasn't stressful.

It was just a very emotional day for you. This morning Janja wanted to go visit the coastline since he had a very stressful week with the Lion guard. He gets hungry, goes a little overboard, the rides the bad breath of Kion. You know, the usual.

Janja also wanted to know the place you were from. The thing was, you had a very good reason not to share a lot about your past. After the accident with your mother when you were way younger. No ever looked at you the same. You could even hear the whispers of judgement behind your back.

What a mistake

Murderer

Filthy little bi***

Someone just get rid of her already!

Even the rest of your family turned on you. When you were broken and vulnerable. The kept on adding to the pain.

Luckily for you, you still had a few good and loyal friends that tried to support you, But that changed in an instant after the Tsunami hit your territory. Nearly everything was lost. The only hyenas left were the ones who had the most against you.

You couldn't take it anymore! You had nothing left there. There was only pain and regret.

Which you believed was caused by you. So, you ran away and found a clan that gave you unlimited love. They were a bit gruff when you fist made introductions, but hey, they were way kinder than your last clan.

"You ready to go, (Y/N)?" Janja asked with a cheery tone snapping you out of your thoughts. For a moment you hesitated. Should I go back to the place that made me feel like a mistake? you debated. Even if you came from a cruddy clan, your new clan mates should defiantly deserve to know where you came from.

You the turned you head towards him and smiled, "I was born ready,".

No need to explain that you were not born ready for this.

Every couple of minutes or so, you would remember another bad memory of your clan then afterwards Janja or someone else would notice and ask if you were alright. And despite all of your painful memory flashes. You didn't want them to worry about you. But Janja has, like, an emotion vision or something because whenever you believe you are hiding your emotions well, Janja always notices you're lying and make sure that your alright.

In your whole life, you have never gone to someone when you needed comfort. You would usually hide away and try to wipe your feeling away while others would come to you for comfort. But with Janja, he is the only one you have ever allowed to see you hurt emotionally and the only one who has comforted you.

You trust him. Even when the pridelanders don't.

Soon night fell and you guys have almost made it to the coastline. Before you guys, was a very steep hill that you had to climb up before you get there though.

"Last one up the hill is a rotten jackal!"

"Yeah! It wont be me!" Cheezi and Chungu hollered as they and the others raced up the rocky hill side. You were about to join them when suddenly....everything started to come crashing down. As you started up the hill you started to hyperventilate as you remember a time when your aunt striked you across the face after you called her out on her cruelty.

You feel trapped, alone, like all of the weight of your regrets are trying to make you fall to your knees. This is terrifying! You don't know what's going on. The feelings are mixed but that all have something to do with you giving up. Pain, fear, anxiety, loneliness, prisoner, anger, and regret.

You couldn't breath. The whispers of your old clan mates still rang inside your head.

The world around actually started to get fuzzy when you recall a time when you punched an older male out after grabbing you tightly on the shoulders and screamed every curse word at you. Your vision started to dim when you realized you're having a panic attack. Then you heard feet shuffle near you.

"(Y/N)!"

"Oh my god we shouldn't have left you alone. (Y/n) take a deep breath," Sita advised with paw gestures. You having no choice breathed in. "Now hold it, alright breath out," You breathed out but was still slighly freaking out as more memories flashed across your mind. Then Janja pushed to the front.

"You fur-brains, give her some space. You call all go up, I'll stay here with (y/n), alright?"The other shook their heads in agreement ast they started up the hill into the coastline.

Janja the layed on his back against the steep hill before he gently layed your back on top of him then rested his head on top of yours. He then held you while sofly stroking your arm after he pointed to some blurry dots in the sky.

"If you look real closely, you can see Cetus over there, "Even if you knew you couldn't see squat, you didn't have to heart to tell him that. The memories were fading. The moment was timeless. The world suddenly stopped spinning. You could now actually focus on the moment now.

"Oh and if you look over there you can find Hydra, that crazy overgrown snake," You could help but laugh at the obvious. "Im a little surprised you haven't called out the obvious ones out yet, like Orions Belt," Janja then laughed and pointed to a constelation that resembled a cup of some sort.

"And over there is the big dipper" He said in a deep low voice trying to act stupid making you laugh and forget what happened earlier. After awhile you both knew you guys had to meet up with the others soon, but neither of you wanted to admit it.

Janja then lightly kissed your head, "You feelin' better now?" He asked in a babyiesh voice defintly implying something.

"Now that you've mentioned it, yeah i feel better," You smiled to him as you slowly got back up only for Janja to stand up with you with a worried look. "(Y/n) I'm really sorry I suggested to go here, I didn't know it would have been this bad-" You then intrupted him with a paw.

"Don't worry Janja, I'm ready to finally deal with my past. I can't just keep running away from it, its a part of me." Janja then smiled at your little wisdom speech.

"I will still kick anyone's butt if they give you trouble though, " Janja piped in as you both made your way up the hill.

"(Y/n)?"

"Janja."

"Ha. Ha. Very funny, but whats your star constelation?"

"(Your zodiac sign)."

"Found it." Janja pointed to your constellation that was shining above you two. The anwser to how he found it so fast was a mystery to you, but you didn't give it second thoughts as you both finally got to the top of the hill.
