Logan's POV
"Why now?"
It was one of the only questions I asked.
"Can you give me an answer Zach?" I questioned "hm?"
"Can you tell me why? Why after all this time, after all that's changed. Why now?"
"Well Alpha..." My beta started "Fate does have a way of getting what she wants."
I growled getting even more frustrated
"Zachary James Smith don't you give me that bs." I narrowed my eyes as his chuckle echoed through my office.
"Sorry Venator, it's the only truthful answer I can give, I really don't understand why you're upset. You were looking for quite a while." His arrogant smirk changed to a more serious expression.
I groaned and flung my head into the chair.
"Exactly!" I exclaimed, "I was looking, as in past tense, NO LONGER LOOKING!" I stood up and began to pace along the length of my office. My beta looked up at me from the couch with that ridiculously annoying smirk back on his face. "I gave up looking a while ago, and for good reasons- you know that!" I shot Zach a glare and he lowered his eyes.
He sighed. "Well Logan, I'm not sure if I can tell you why, but I can tell you this. It's not a bad thing, and as much as you want to control this like everything else, you can't. It's just not how it works, so no disrespect, but suck it up and go deal with it, this isn't something you can run from." I looked up at him with a sigh.
"Yeah" I responded
"I gotta go because training's about to start but I wish you the best of luck."
"Mhm"
Zach began to leave the room before I stopped him.
"Zach"
"Hm?"
"Not a word to anybody" The look we shared I knew there was no need to command him. He knew how I serious I was, how serious this was.
I flopped down on the couch, and as helpful as his advice had been, I still had unanswered questions running around in my head.
'Why now, after all this time, after all I went through, and after me giving it up. Why now had I found my mate.'

So this was a pretty short chapter, really just a filler showing a snippet of Logan's POV

I'm not going to be doing a whole lot on his POV because I really want to keep him and his personality as much of a mystery to you, the readers, as he is to the other characters in the story. Anyways I should be updating again pretty soon since this chapter was so short.
