chapter 28: The Capitol

Leanne's pov
I woke up in the morning of the sound of Lucy throwing a fit "will you calm down please?" i asked as I rubbed my eyes "you do not believe what happened" she almost yelled "My counter part just left us" she continued "So What she didn't owe us anything" i argued making her stop throwing a fit "i guess you're right but I mean leaving without saying goodbye?" she asked I just shook my head and woke up Wendy and Carla and I couldn't help but smile when I came to her bed she was sleeping soundly with Carla and Arya who apparently escaped my arms while I was sleeping so I walked up "good morning Wendy" i said in a soft voice she slowly sat up "Good morning Lea-nee" she said rubbing her eyes I smiled and kissed her forehead.
And I grabbed her a sandwich I stole but I didn't tell her that so I handed it to her "eat it" i said with a small smile.

We resumed our journey towards the Royal Capitol trough a dessert when I heard the sound of an engine behind us "Guys behind us!" i called grabbing their attention towards the incoming speeding car "that mark!"  Happy exclaimed from in the air "It's a Fairytail vehicle" Arya confirmed so when the doors opend to show who was inside I couldn't help but stare at the irony Natsu's counterpart was driving a vehicle without trouble "well that's ironic" i heard Arya voice out my thoughts "the name's Natsu Dragion speeds the game" he said trying to act though. "get in I'm bringing you to the Capitol but I'm only doing this because my Lucy asked" he said "tsundere.." i thought to myself so we sat in the car.

It had been a few minutes when he suddenly stopped "this is as far as I'm getting so get out" he said throwing us out of the car "oh wait a minute" a now better Natsu said as he dragged his counterpart out of the car I saw his hole attitude change he suddenly turned into a whimp so I decided to go look around the edge of the cliff I looked down "There's no need to beat him up" i said making Natsu halt his fist mid air "We're already here" i explained motioning them to come to the edge and see.

We walked into the Royal Capitol and looked around the streets and it looked like they were celebrating something."well they seem to be very happy here" Lucy observed I nodded "yes, but I don't think I like the feeling why" i said as I walked further when we eventually came to a square with a lot of people gathered all looking towards a giant lacrima crystal "No way" i said as I realized what that crystal was "it's Magnolia" Arya continued when the crowd started cheering and a old man walked to a balcony near the lacrima "My children Edolas has been losing magic for years but the God's have finally gifted us magic with this giant lacrima we can supply Edolas with magic energy for another century"  the king yelled making the to crowd cheer but he did something that drove me mad he had drilled his staff into the crystal making it shatter a bit. I could feel Natsu's rage from where I was standing and I saw Lucy pull him back and I also saw Wendy with small tears in her eyes so I pulled her towards me putting my arms locked around her chest "it's gonna be okay" i whispered to her following Natsu and Lucy towards a hotel where we could come up with a plan to try and free our friends and the entire town of Magnolia.

Hello everyone I'm sorry for the late update I had to watch the episodes of the Edolas-Arc again to remind me a bit what happend but I at least for this one done so on to the next
