chapter 42: Fairy no more

Leanne's pov
Because Raventail got discalified we had to merge our Fairytail teams into 1 team in the end we settled for me Erza Natsu Laxus and Gray we walked into the Arena since we would give them revenge for what they did to Lucy in the Water battle yesterday every one had tag battles Lamia against Mermaid Heel and Blue Pegasus against Quatro Cerebrus but the crowd was looking forward the most to to the last battle Me and Natsu against the twin dragon slayers or Sabertooth "and now ladies and gentlemen for the match everyone has waited for the battle between The twin dragon slayers of Sabertooth and Natsu Dragneel and Leanne from Fairytail' Chapati called making the Entire arena cheer
Me and Natsu walked into the Arena where Sting and Rogue were already waiting as soon as the gong sounded me and Natsu rushed forward to the dragon slayers and punched the with a magic infused fist The impact created a smoke screen" well you sure are strong so maybe it is time we got serious as well" he said with a smirk "white drive" Sting said while Rogue actived his "shadow drive" they grew scales and their magic aura surrounded them and they rushed towards us at an amazing speed they hit me in the stomach and Natsu his face "are the Fairytail mages down?" Chapati called I knew I had to activate it "Natsu..." i said as I turned to him with a tear falling from my eye "Leanne,what's wrong?"  he asked concerned "I'm sorry" i said before I turned away from him facing the twin dragon slayers "Tell me you two,do you really think you could defeat Acnologia?" i asked my voice stoic not giving away any emotion he smirked "of course" he said "well then why don't you try to defeat me" i said "i come from long ago where my kind ruled the skies the first of my kind give me strength, ancient Black Dragon mode!" i yelled unleashing an massive amount of energy the small stones on the ground started levitating in the air around us "what are you" Sting called "your nightmare" i said with a demonic voice I rushed towards them with an unrivaled speed to normal people I was a black blur but to them the dragon slayers and a couple of high power mages could see how I looked I had a black and purple tail with black claws blue markings from my stomach coverd my body I punched Sting and Rogue left and right
"I'm going to end this right now" i said "Ancient Black Dragon Roar!!" i roared releasing a massive roar of black energy hitting them full force when the dust cleared Sting and Rogue lay beaten on the ground the entire stadium was silent so I let out a whistle and Arya flew down handing me my black cloak wich I immediately put on only leaving my hood down I grabbed the bag Arya had in her paws and threw it over my shoulder "come on" i said as I pulled my cloak over my head and with that I left the stadium "goodbye and thank you for the best years of my life" i whispered.

Gray's pov
I looked with shock at my girlfriend she never told me of this. She whistled and Arya flew down with a cloak and a bag "wait she's leaving?" i asked the announcer said that we won and the day was to an end we made our way to the inn where we stayed Natsu was sitting with his head down gritting his teeth "uhm guys you may want to see this" Happy said as he flew down "what is it Happy?"  Lucy asked the Blue cat "well you see I found these two things with a note on the bed of Gray and Wendy" he said holding two small boxes and two notes he gave the first one to me and the second one to Wendy I opened the small box and couldn't believe my eyes it was a beautiful locket with inside the picture from me and Leanne on our first date as a couple I then looked at the note
"Dear Gray,
how sorry I am to leave you I didn't tell you my past and for that never being honest with you I can never forgive myself for that I don't ask for your forgiveness I just want you to know the years I stayed at Fairytail with you were the best years of my life I don't know if our paths will cross again but if they do I'm afraid I will be standing in front of you instead of next to you
