⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Connor bit his lip. “Can we talk?” Connor asked. Ricky nodded. “Well, I'm…dating someone.” Ricky smiled a little. “That's not a bad thing, i just hope you didn't sleep with her already.” Connor shook his head. “It's Carmen…” Ricky gasped. “Connor, i told you to stay away from her, if she's like her mother,she'll break your heart.” Connor sighed. “She won't break my heart, i know her for years and i know what happened between you and her mom, but i love her too much to leave her.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Ricky nodded. “Well, first you have to tell her that I'm your dad, she was basically my daughter for seven years.” Connor sighed. “I'll have to tell her parents too…” Ricky shook his head. “That's not necessary, they know exactly who you are.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀“They think I'm your son?” Connor asked. Ricky shook his head. “They both know who's your real dad, we were all friends, so i guess they'll be okay knowing that you're really Emery's son.” Connor nodded.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀They stared at each other for some minutes, Ricky was gonna say something, but Alicia walked in.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀She looked at both of them weirdly. “Were you guys arguing again?” Connor shook his head. “I told him about, um, Carmen.” Ricky looked at her. “You knew?” She nodded. “I promised him i wouldn't tell you.” Connor looked down and Ricky asked,”Why didn't you tell me?” Alicia put her bags down and shrugged. “Well, you know i always keep my promises, you know the reason of that, don't make me tell you again.” Ricky sighed and Alicia walked to the baby's room with the bags.

Ricky sighed again. “You know she had a bad past, it's just another one of the stories of it.” Connor looked at him. “Why won't you guys tell me about stuff like this?” Ricky looked at him. “What do you mean by that?” “Why do you guys always change the subject whenever i ask about my real parents or why were you both in jail or what's up with mom's bad past?”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Ricky shrugged. “We just don't feel comfortable talking to you about it, but i promise that one day we'll tell you about it.” Connor sighed. “You always say that, can't you at least tell me why were you guys in jail?” Ricky shook his head. “The things you wanna know all have the same story, if i tell you the story you'll figure everything out.”
