The Seasons of Life
Spring blossoms with harmony,
A start of a new beginning;
Nature comes to life as you open your eyes
For the first time.
The endless summer sun illuminates the land
As empty shadows follow you,
But you take no notice
For you are too full of energy and joy.
But good things do not last;
As the sun starts to fade,
And the autumn leaves flutter away,
So does your youth.
The empty shadow has overtaken you.
Whilst the sun disappears into the clouds,
And the earth sinks beneath the snow
As do you.
