Shantanu Maheshwari, India's latest dancing sensation and teenage heartthrob, was hosting a party to celebrate his forthcoming birthday.
Shantanu POV:
The party was a bit different from all his other birthday parties because this time he was celebrating it with his well wishers for the first time. He felt happy to be with so many people who love him, support him unconditionally and make efforts to bring a smile on his face. But among all these smiling faces, he was missing that one smile that can light up his day. He really wished that she was there with him to celebrate his birthday. Yes, he really missed her, his Guddi.
Soon the party came to an end and he had to stay back to finish some interviews. It was really fun to answer some of the fan questions and the last part of the interview was a rapid fire round. He enjoyed this rapid fire questioning until the interviewer asked him the question which he had been asked n number of times. This time he don't know what took over his mind but he ended up saying something which he never intended to. Yes, the interviewer had asked him whether he was single or not and in spur of the moment he answered that he was in love.
"In love, really but with whom?"
Yes, his one answer had created a buzz among his fans and the social media was filled with tweets and chats discussing his answer for that one single question. What bothered him most was that these discussions will also reach the ears of that one person he does not want to know about this confession of his. He really hoped that she would not come across this interview or fan tweets or Instagram posts but he knew that VruShan fans hardly leave a chance to make sure that they both are aware of what is happening in each others life. He knew that she will definitely want to know about the person who he is in love with and he didn't know how to answer her.
He was in a panic mode now because he was constantly being approached by a channel for a VruShan joint segment and he was trying to avoid this or should he say he was trying to avoid being with her so that he need not face her questioning glances. After a lot of excuses, he finally agreed to do an IV with Vrushika. He mentally prepared himself to face her and her questions.
Vrushika POV:
It's been almost 2 weeks since she last met him. He had come to her photo session to surprise her on her birthday and what a pleasant surprise it was. She felt like she was back to her good old D3 days where she always celebrated her birthday with him and her other friends. She was really happy that he took out time to be with her on her birthday and the best part was that he finally managed to get her a gift. Yes, Marwadi had finally got her a gift and what a lovely gift it was, a perfume for her. She loved it and he was happy to see her smiling face. She really missed those small moments of happiness and wished it would last forever.
Now, she was really excited because she was approached for a joint segment and it has been an year since they have done a gift segment for the fans. It is always fun to do a joint segment with him because she could always be herself with him. Suddenly she remembered that he had organized a pre birthday bash for his well wishers. She immediately checked SNS for any updates on his party. There were pics and videos of him dancing. She was really happy to see him dancing and wished that his smile never left his face. She was still going through the posts when something caught her attention. It was a video of recent IV and what caught her attention was the statement "Pyaar mein hoon, I am in love". She was shocked to hear this answer from him. Is he really in love? But with whom? Yes, the question that was running in every well wishers mind was also running in her mind. So, finally Mr. Shantanu Maheshwari has fallen in love.
As she lie down on her bed pondering over his answer, her phone suddenly rings. She picks up the call to see that it was a call from channel who was supposed to take their joint IV. She was informed by them that since Shantanu will be out of town on his birthday, the IV will be conducted on a later date. She agrees to this and disconnect the call after asking them to contact her once the date for the IV is set.
"May be he going out of town to celebrate his birthday with her. "
Vrushika scolded herself mentally for thinking so much about him and his love life. He is a charming and handsome guy, India's dancing sensation. Of course he will have someone special in his life. He can fall in love with anyone he like. She should not be bothered by this. She should be happy that her friend has finally found love in his life. But then why is she feeling a sense of lose , as if she has lost something valuable, something that belonged to her. She has always known that they are good friends and share a bond that is undefinable. If he is in love with someone else, it does not mean that their bond will change. They have always been each others support system and will continue to be the same. As sleep took over her, her heart was still fighting with her brain trying to come to a conclusion whether him being in love will ever change their bond.
