The summer parted with the dear students of Riverdale on September 6th, as everyone got ready for the school year, getting locker supplies, writing utensils and for me, new lenses.

My alarm clock went off, almost giving me a heart attack as I groaned, turning on my light, grabbing my alarm clock and turning it off before anyone else on the street would hear it and and hate me.

It was that loud.

My parents loathed my alarm cloak, especially since I got up early.

I sighed, flopping back onto my bed, laying down for a few minutes before rolling out of bed.

I stripped my pyjamas off, getting into the shower, welcoming the cold water to cool myself.

It was September, but everyone in Riverdale knew that September was exactly like June, July and August. Hot and sticky.

I washed my face, applying some makeup on, face products, just a bit of eye shadow, liner, and some mascara.

I walked to my closet, picking out a washed out blue button up, some black jeans and your average converses. I brushed my hair out, sighing and looking at my bag like their was a hole burning through it. I took the pictures out, stared at them for only a few seconds, and feeling almost like hours passed, I ripped my eyes away, stuffing them into my closet drawer.

------------

I got to school on my blue bike in only a few minutes. As I turned into the parking lot of Riverdale high, I noticed, everyone had a look of sadness masked onto their faces.

I stiffened up, locking my bike up on the rack, and walking to my group of friends.

Kevin and Betty were obviously talking about something very serious, before I walked up.

"Only 180 days left!" I exclaimed fixing my bag.

Kevin looked up. "Speak of the devil, we were just talking about you Izzy." He said looking at Betty.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "About what?" I asked.

"Oh, just how your holding up, Cheryl is speaking in front of the whole school about wether or not the school with keep the homecoming dance going." Betty said quietly.

"I'm doing alright, it's feels so unreal that he's gone, I just wanna think, he could still be alive. But, I think Jason would have wanted a dance. Make all the attention about him." I mused, smiling slightly.

"Jason just wanted everything to be about him." Betty sighed, her cheeks heating up in anger.

"Betty Cooper, just mourn about the fact that the football team just lost their most valuable 'player', literally." Kevin coughed up the last word.

"I just feel safer that Jason isn't here to torment my family any longer especially Polly." Betty sighs.

I wrap an arm around Betty's shoulder, resting my head in her shoulder.

"Betty, your sister is going to be fine, she just needs time being around people she loves." I say trying to lift her spirits.

Betty sighs. (She sighs a lot, like a dead tired mom) and turns around.

"I need to go get Veronica Lodge, I'm giving her a tour, I'll be back in a second." She says, turning around and adjusting her backpack and walking away.
