SEVEN | Reality
Chicago's cold and chilling air was oddly refreshing for the two teens, who had adjusted to Los Angeles' intense heat.
They were currently sat in the back of an uber which was driving them to Ethan's family home, where he grew up. Both Bella and Ethan were mega excited to be in Chicago, they had a special attachment to the city.
"Do we have any plans for the next few days?" Bella asked her best friend, shifting her gaze upon him as he typed eagerly on his iPhone.
"The guys from high school want to hang out and throw a party like old times, but other than that I guess not? Do you want to do anything in particular?" He asked, wanting her input.
Bella smiled, shaking her head before she looked down at her lap. "As long as I'm spending all of my time with you, I'm good dude."
Ethan tried his best to cover up the blush that had crept onto his face, but Bella didn't find it embarrassing she thought it was cute.
A comforting silence had fallen over the two as their bodies pushed up against each other in the car. Bella adjusted her position, leaning her head upon his shoulder as she stared at his facial features, adoring and passionately.
"I forgot to say thank you." She breathed, after a few minutes. "For sticking up for me."
Ethan focused his eyes on her, gently placing his chin on the top of her head. "Bells, you don't need to thank me. I just told them truth."
"Still," she sighed. "I appreciate it."
Ethan didn't respond to what she had said in words, instead he wrapped his arm around her petite body and pulled her closer to him, in a both protective and caring manner.
A bump in the road caused their bodies to jolt apart and the driver mumbled a quick sorry. Their cute moment had been interrupted but rather than being irritated by it, Ethan and Bella found it overly funny and spent the last fifteen minutes of the journey cracking up the furthest from funny jokes.
