I waited patiently as I held the package tightly to my chest, not long after, the cracked door opened with a cringing noise as a woman appeared; Lights revealing her appearance. Her hair was blonde, and her skin pale as snow, and grey, snake-like eyes. She looked like one of those monks, except female and not um... Bald. So um, she technically isn't a monk then. Totally was she Ms. Janice Alistair.

The woman opened the door completely and asked, "Who might you be...?"

I answered politely, "My name is Amy Olivar, Ms. Alistair. I'm here on delivery duties." When the package was revealed, Ms. Alistair nodded kindly and took the package from my hands swiftly.

She replied kindly, "I give you thanks. Would you like to come in?" My body tensed more than it was before. Currently, there were three options; One: Politely decline. Two: Just Go in. Three: Go in to prove she isn't a psycho. Choice three sounds tempting now... Right? I thought with curiosity.

My body moved on its own as my head bobbed in reply. Ms. Alistair left the door casually and went back inside. I stepped inside as I closed the old door behind me. Ms. Alistair's manor wasn't THAT bad... If you don't include the cobwebs and textbooks titled, 'Illusions and Sorcery' or 'Cobwebs and Capacity'. I stood awkwardly in the hallway as my host popped out from out of nowhere and states bluntly, "This way." I rolled my eyes secretly and followed her cautiously until we arrived in what seemed the living room. I sat on the bear fur couch across from Ms. Alistair as she said, "I'll get tea now. Don't touch anything." I bobbed my head, most of my blonde locks misplacing themselves. After Ms. Alistair left, I looked around the room, and got bored easily. So nothing THAT new.

Two minutes later, Ms. Alistair returned with a steaming kettle. I stared at her in disbelief as she poured the tea. Ms. Alistair looked at me and asked, "What'a wrong? You keep staring."

"No, nothing wrong. It's just that... Isn't the kettle, you know... Hot?" I asked, repeating, I asked the wrong question didn't I?! Over and over.

Ms. Alistair smiled and said, "Glad you noticed. You kn-"

BANG. BANG. "Ms. Alistair! Open the door this instant!" Both me and Ms. Alistair held our conversation as the knocking grew louder. What now?! I thought.
