LAURENS POV

I woke up in Alex's bed, Alex curled up in a ball in the corner. I yawned, then remembered last night. A stressful and embarrassing night. I shouldn't of kissed him, it'd be so awkward today! At least he survived... I got out of his bed and walked into the kitchen. A big breakfast would be ready for him when he woke up! Eggs, bacon, toast...everything delicious! As I cracked the eggs, memories of Alex and I from middle school flashed in my mind.

"John, hurry up!" Alex shrieked. I chased after him, going as fast as I could. "Wait up!" I called, giggling. Our favorite, big oak tree was ahead. We read and wrote poems together here.

Then, I hadn't liked him, but when he moved away, I missed him...when he came back for college, he was amazing! He was so handsome, and his small size just made him so adorable. He didn't recognize me at first, but when I told him who I was, he was so excited. It made my heart skip a beat to him smile.

ALEXANDER POV

I woke up, still shaking. I coughed, remembering last night in all it's horror and...embarrassment. Laurens had kissed me, right? No, I was probably dreaming...he probably just made fun of me. He'd tell Jefferson and Madison and Burr and-

"Alex! Are you awake?" Laurens called out from the kitchen. I slowly rose to my feet. "Um, yeah." I replied.

SMASH

I ran out of my room to the kitchen. "John, John! Are you okay?" I said frantically, my heart racing.
'What if he got hurt?' I thought

John got up off the floor. He blushed adorably. "Uh, I'm fine, thanks..."  I sighed in relief and helped him up the rest of the way.

He immediately kissed me.
