I got ready for my date with Cat. Emotionally and physically. I grabbed my coat, slipping it on and heading out.

I shut off my car, getting out and sighing. Just one more hour. I thought in my head, walking into the retro diner.
The smell of sticky pancakes and overcooked bacon filled my lungs. Cops and nurses, spreading gossip and flirting like they were in high school. I soon found my way to Cat, sliding into the booth, across from her.
"Oh my God! That's so nice!" She chirped, telling me about how nice it was that I stepped out of the house. "Cat. Um, we need to talk." I said, fiddling with my fingers. "But I thought we were talking now silly!" She chirped ever so loudly, but this time with a piercing giggle. "Well, yeah but about us." I stumbled over my words, looking her in the eyes. "I think we need to break up."
Her face turned from happy and healthy, to sad and green. I mumbled a "sorry" and quickly made my escape from the awkward tension. Ugh. What a day.

    Selenas pov:
I decided to get ready for today. Walking into the bathroom, I gazed into the mirror, cringing at the sight of my baggy eyes and tear-stained cheeks. Man, I looked rough.
After putting on a good layer of makeup, I put on one of my nicest outfits, a nice, silky tank top with skinny jeans, heels, and leather jacket to match.
"Ready for tonight?" Justin sent me. I smiled slightly, and typed a quick reply. I quickly made myself a bowl of cereal and ate alone, thinking about all of the obstacles that happened today. Not anymore. No more hurting. No more love.
