This was my first day of my final year at Blue Tree Leaves, and this time I, Marcus Clevercloud, wasn't going to let anything screw it up. But as I stepped off the train I took to get to Uptown Aldan, A bit of fear came over me. What If I had made a mistake? What if this year sucked? My father was so against me going to BLT, but I begged him until he finally said yes. It'd be ridiculous to go back and say I wanted to go to a different school after all the arguing. Anyway, there was no point in questioning anything now. I was here and I was going to make the most of it.
The first thing I decided to do was to go ahead and look at my dorm. As I went and unlocked the door, I noticed that my dorm was huge- My mother had probably payed the school to give me the biggest room. I looked around the dormitory in awe. This must have been meant to be a single-person dorm, as there was only one bed. There was also a fairly sized kitchen, bathroom, and desk for me. It was a bit lonely, but It was great. I dropped my bag down on the kitchen Island and checked my schedule. Classes started tomorrow, of course, so I could do anything I wanted today. I decided I would check around the school and see if there were any places to eat around the campus. After all, there would be people there and I'd have a chance to make a good first impression.
I plugged in my headphones and began to walk through the campus, enjoying the music and making my way towards a coffee shop I had seen inside the school. I walked quickly, and didn't pay attention to where I was going, accidentally crashing into an employee that just seemed to be leaving, with a cup of to-go coffee in his paws. He quickly blushed and covered his eyes out of embarrassment as the cup he was holding crashed to the floor, making a mess.
So much for first impressions.
