Velvet rose petals scattered on the floor, leading to much a surprise
But unfortunately that's just what happens to be dream before my lonely eyes
I turn and look, only to see nothing but couples smiling happily
It's hard to believe that I had that once only to end with such misery
This Valentine's day was meant to be a day that I could once cherish
But while in reality it's none of the above for my love before had perished
So yet again I say
On this dreary day
How sad it is
For I am once again
