Nastu POV

14 seconds left on the clock.... I can't let my team down! 10.... 9....8
If I can just break the tie, we can win.
5...4...3... 2, -Swoosh- a loud buzzer filled my ears did I do it? "Nastu ,nastu, nastu!" The crowd cheered . I glance over at the score board 60-62 ! Aw hell yeah I did it! In case you haven't noticed I'm on the basketball team of fairy tail high school actually let me rephrase that I'm the team captain of the basketball team for fairy tail high school! I'm not your ordinary popular guy either unless your ordinary is : attractive, badass, fuckboy who is loved by everyone than I guess I am your ordinary popular guy! "Hey nastu wanna 'hang' at my place?" A girl with dark brown hair and purple eyes asks. I give her my slick smile "depends if I'm open." I say flirtatiously "well are you cus I'm open along with my legs" she says with a wink.
I hear someone make a gagging sound in the background and look up to see a blonde girl with chocolate brown eyes wearing a tank top with a Nike jacket and grey tights matched with black boots walk past towards the exit where sting one of my teammates are standing. I believe she is the new girl since I haven't seen her before.

Lucy POV

Our team scored! I guess the basketball team here isn't to bad. Everybody cheered the name Natsu, I guess that's the person who scored. Oh shit! I forgot I needed to meet up with loke to help me with moving into my new house! I start towards the exit when I hear something extremely cringe worthy " well r u open? cus I am along with my legs." I gag and walk towards the exit, when a arms grabs hold of me "hey you gotta problem?" The pink haired guy asks "with what" I ask a little confused "you just gagged at me" a slutty looking girl asked "oh I remember, wow you look more slutty than your comment made you out to be" I said mostly to myself "say that again bitch" she said raising her hand to me
"Oh my god, I don't need trouble like this!" I complained in my head
"I need to go, can u let go of my please?" I asked politely "apologies first!" Pinkie said "ow your hurting me" I cried "he said apologies!" The brunette said about to hit me when a hand caught her "let her go nastu!" A blonde hair guy said seriously "hmph" was all I heard from him as he let go of my arm "thank you" I said rubbing my wrist on the verge of tears "hey it's okay, I think nastu might be on his period he's been moody lately " he said with a chuckle. I laughed lightly " what is your name" I asked "oh yeah sorry about that my names sting! What about u?" I smiled at his cute grin and said "Lucy" "Lucy .... hmm I'll call you lu!"
Ah embarrassing nickname , time for a comeback "okay , stingy-bee" I chuckled as he blushed slightly.

Natsu POV

Not to easdrop or anything but I overheard Lucy's and stings  convo. I really went to far with that Lucy girl, I want to apologize. But if I didn't I wouldn't get any sugar. But I'm sure that she will fall for me and forgive me without me asking so I'll  just not

2 days later

." Hey flame brain" gray said "what up Elsa" I say as a comeback, all I got is a glare "rumor has is that you beat up the new girl, you've gone to far with that one dude" he says seriously "have you even apologized yet?" "I'm sure my looks r good enough to cover that , maybe I'll go out with her to say I'm sorry" I say all gray does is give me a disgusted look  and says " dude girls are not toys, especially the new girl".

Nighttime

I cant fall asleep I might stay up all night thinking that. I just couldn't fall asleep .... so I decided to take a walk to the park. When I arrived I found Lucy on the swings looking really upset " hey uh, Lucy." I say worried "she didn't look up " I'm really sorry about the other day , I just wasn't in the right mind. Trust me I'm actually not a shitbag!" I say agian still getting no response I decide to stand in front of her. I immediately regretted it. I saw Luce crying with no emotion on her face, like all her feeling got washed out and replaced with tears "hey, what wrong?" I asked really worried ... I was freaking out! I didn't know what was the matter at all! I got snapped out of my trance when I realized that I was hugging her . It took her I few moments for her to hug me back. "M-My f-f-father!" She managed to say as she started to bursting out crying like there was no tomorrow. What about her dad? I comforted her with occasional shh's from me " I never got to say g-goodbye! Now he is gone for-forever" she did at last and started to cry again but more aggressively. Shit. Was my only thought , i didn't know what to do at all. After what seemed like hours of crying she fell asleep. I didn't know where she lived and I didn't want to wake her up. Since sting and her have been hanging out a lot lately maybe I'll just call him to see if he knows where she lives -ring ring- is all I heard for about a min. "Hello?" A sleepy voice said I couldn't blame him it was 2 in the morning " hey it's me Natsu, do you know by any chance where Lucy lives?" I asked a bit nervous. "Y" he asked a bit angry " I saw her in the park and she was crying cus her dad died, she cried so much she fell asleep in my arms and I don't want to wake her up" I say with her in my arms on the bench. Wait ... she is in her in her pjs and doesn't have her bra on..... I blush a bit realizing this, why am I nastu dragneel blushing? For god sakes I've seen woman with nothing on a voice breaks me out of my trance " wow uh, thanks for taking care of her, her address is 1234 n magnolia ln , btw you better not do anything to her!!!!" Sting says with different tones of voice at first sincere then protective " is sting jelly?" I say teasingly "shut it" was the last thing I heard until he hung up .

I suck at writing stories cus I always want to get to the gud part but anyway I hope you like it
