When I get home I start to deal with the rotting corpse. I'll throw it in the ocean where nobody will find it. After wrapping it in my extra linens I set out to dispose of it. The sirens will eat his body when they find it. I throw the body into the ocean and watch the once beautiful sirens turn into a scary marine creatures and eat the already torn up body. The little girl whines crying and looks at me. "You killed him!!" she screams and I turn around to look at her. Something inside me snaps and I start turning back into that creature. I look at her with bright glowing white eyes and my eyes narrow. She falls back with a mix of whimpering and sobbing coming from her. I walk towards her. I can't stop myself.. What am I about to do.. No! I have to stop before I hurt somebody else! The little girl tried to run but it's to late. I already grabbed her, her little wrist in my hand. She looks up at me fearfully. Just like when I looked down at her last night. I can't do this.. I must stop this before I do such a horrible thing. "Please! I promise I won't tell anyone! Just please don't kill me... I'm sorry.." She begs and pleads for me not to kill her. I finally feel in control and turn normal. She watches and for a second I looked into her teary green irises before passing out right in front of the little girl. When I woke the little girl was gone and I was laying in a pool of blood.. Wait! THIS IS MY BLOOD! I had a knife stabbed in into stomach and I can see the healing process is trying to heal around it. I slowly pull it out the noises of ripping loud and clear to hear. The knife was doused in blood and the healing process starts again healing the wound quickly. I press my hands against it trying to stop if from bleeding. I whimper and wince at the horrible pain but I power through it until its all healed. I slowly walk home occasionally whimpering. I wonder who did this. Whoever did it will pay! I swear it. I walk through the dark forest gently watching my step. At night is when the creatures are more active. Hungry creatures who are looking for something to eat. Better worded as someone to eat. I hear growls and roars as I slowly walk holding my still fully healed wound. I hear a scream and then silence other than my steps filled with noises of crunching leaves and snapping twigs. I'm kind of frightened of this silence but I think tonight was a calm night because I made it to my house. Luckily it was near where I was anyways but i'm sure it won't be the last time I have to walk through that forest in the cold darkness. Next time I might not be so lucky.
