They decide they need to do something about their loved one not quite belonging to them.

Shuu Sakamaki
It had been a fairly quiet day. Shuu had spent most of it lingering in the music room. Occasionally, during break, you would come in and tell him what he missed. But Shuu was thinking. Thinking about how it drove him crazy to leave you, knowing he was leaving you lacking an owner. Meaning, you could find one, without him. At first, his own emotions baffled him. He could just bite you, steal you away. But he imagined the pain on your face and he loathed it. Shuu would much rather seeing you smile. After school hours eventually came and you returned, looking slightly disappointed.
"What's with that face?" He asked, peering at you. You forced a smile and sat beside him, pressing your head to the wall.
"M-My friend got together with a guy," you told him, "and usually I'd be happy, but f-for some reason, I wasn't." Got together, Shuu thought. In the lasting silence, he made a realisation.
"Hey." You looked at him with interest.
"Do you want to get together with someone?" He asked. You turned red, staring at the carpet. Slowly, you nodded.
"Then, with me." He examined your reaction. You were processing, confused, in disbelief, and finally, realising what he had asked you.
"R-Really? W-Why?" You stammered. He smirked, drawing your head onto his shoulder.
"Why else? What reasons are there?" You smiled nervously, nuzzling into his shoulder. For now, you would accept that. The day would come when he could tell you he loved you with ease.

Reiji Sakamaki
Reiji knew what to do. At least, that is what he tricked himself into believing. In all truthfulness, he was losing his composure. He wanted to ask you out, to have you call him yours, and vice versa. Now, how would he achieve that? That's where his illusions of false knowledge came to pass. Because whilst he told himself he knew how, he didn't. Reiji constructed an entire plan to ask you out mid-conversation, and then gave up on it. He kept coming up with ideas -- usually that involved bluntly enquiring -- only to crush them.
And then came the letter. You found it in your locker. It was decorated with the swirls of cursive and hand drawn roses, and carried the scent of tea. It announced his feelings, in a passive sense, not asking for anything from you. You read it and ran as fast as you could. He was not in any of his regular spots, so you searched places he rarely showed up. Eventually, you found him. On the roof, quietly drinking tea from one of his porcelain cups. It had clearly been set up for two.
"At last," he muttered, glancing up at you, "it took you far too long. The tea was growing cold, I had to start." You smiled, sitting down beside him. There was a short silence, before he spoke up.
"It is best we take short steps. You understand what guidelines you must follow? To date me. I've never...courted anyone, let alone a human." You nodded, hardly surprised. He had never been the type. But, you knew you would be happy.

Ayato Sakamaki
To be honest, he had no clue. For once, Ayato did not want to come off as obnoxious or arrogant. Well, as is natural, he just wanted to hear yes. So, Ayato went to the first person he knew would have answers. Laito. After giving him some ideas (though not a lot), Laito simply told him, "do it your own way."
Your school day had been awful. A teacher had given you detention for not giving him an assignment that you had given him - he had just lost it. You were in a bad mood. You went to your locker to put away books, when you discovered a note.
"Meet Ore-sama in the Home Ec room." You were annoyed, as you thought he was going to force you to make him Takoyaki again. You made your mind up to speak to him about his incessant need for the treat and headed off.
You were greeted by the overwhelming scent of cake and burning. You looked around, spotting the table that had been decorated with two sets of cutlery and plates and cups filled with soft drink. You were in awe. You turned your head and saw Ayato tending to a blackened cake.
"Ah! O-Ore-sama meant to do this, it adds flavour." He commented, and then realised, you were crying. He flinched and rushed to your side.
"S-Sorry..." Your eyes shone and you looked up at him with a smile.
"It really is a special occasion if you're apologising. I love you, Ayato." He embraced you tightly, partly to hide his blush.
"I-I love you too."

Laito Sakamaki
Laito was certainly an expert in these matters. He knew what he was doing. But, at least, for this particular occasion, he wanted to do something he hadn't done for any other girl. Something special.
This particular day, it was raining. His patient waiting for the right day ended there, the moment the first raindrop collected on the window.
You were walking home, upset and anxious that Laito had been distancing himself from you, and cold due to your lack of umbrella, or even warm clothing. You were exhausted, overloaded by your own emotions, and ended up at a bus stop huddling against the rain. Closing your eyes, you were soothed into conscious rest. Abruptly an arm pulled you into a shoulder. He smelt nice, like someone you know. You opened your eyes and stared into emerald irises. Laito smiled, gently this time, lacking his usual playfulness.
"Wh-what? Where did you come from?" You asked, a little irked. You pushed him away, but he caught your hands and leaned closer.
"I came to see you, of course~," he replied, and you shot him a glare before prying yourself free. You blinked and his forehead met yours, his movement in a few short milliseconds.
"Don't run away, (F/N)~. Nfu, I wanted to ask you something." You were absorbed by his astonishing eyes, your heart pounding in your chest. He knew he had captured your attention, so he continued.
"Will you go out with me?" You were stunned. You nodded. He smiled.

Kanato Sakamaki
How can he make you his? That question reiterated itself in his mind. Kanato's only representations of 'partner' were the various girls Laito occasionally brought home and his parents -- both terrible examples. Of course, his curiosity got the best of him, so of course he chose transparency and asked you.
"Hey, (F/N)-san," he started, as he rested his head in your lap, "Teddy wants to know how we can own you." You giggled, patting him on the head, as you contemplated the thought.
"Well, do you mean like, dating?" His eyes shot up to you and you flinched.
"Teddy doesn't want it like that. It's lewd and perverted. Right, Teddy?" You tilted your head, a little baffled at the animosity he displayed towards dating.
"It doesn't have to be," you started, and he looked up towards you with eyes shining with curiosity. You chose words carefully before speaking.
"Well, a relationship can be what you want it to be. It can be casual and short-term, or it can be serious and long-term. It can even lead to marriage." Kanato hadn't replied, thinking over your words for a while, before glancing at Teddy and staring into his dark bead-eyes.
"(F/N)-san," he started, still looking at his soft toy rather than the subject of his words, "will you be that for me? But, you can't leave me. I don't want you to leave, and neither does Teddy."
You were moved. Hearing such words from him made you happy, because you, as well, wanted him to stay by your side.
"Of course, I'll stay with you, Kanato-kun."

Subaru Sakamaki
You noticed white roses were appearing in your locker every new school day. Subaru had been acting the same -- trying to get away yet desperate to stay at the same time. Nothing about him gave away the idea that he was doing something incredibly romantic and touching for you. On the stem of each rose, you noticed there was a lack of thorns. It seemed he - you assumed it was Subaru - had gone to the trouble of removing them.
"I've been getting roses in my locker," you announced, taking the direct route because, as he was a Tsundere, he could not handle that much.
"I-I see," he stammered, his back turning immediately towards you.
"I was wondering if it was--,"
"Tch, it wasn't me! Why are you even bringing this up?!"
"Okay, now I know it's you." The two of you shared an awkward silence before he turned towards you, red-faced and all. Admittedly, he was adorable.
"S-So what if it was?" He stuttered, looking everywhere but at you. You grinned, approaching with you arms open, waiting to embrace him. He accepted with lingering awkwardness, flinching slightly at your touch.
"I love you, Subaru." He heard the words and immediately tightened his grip on you, as if he would lose you. You felt him quiver slightly, burying his nose in the crook of you neck.
"I love you too. W-Will you be m-mine?"
You only needed to nod.
