A New Soul (Sans X Female Reader)

Chapter 22- Max's POV

Max's POV

I felt the bullet penetrate through my skull and heard the constant screaming of passerby's. As I fell to the ground, I saw (Y/N) over me, tears streaming down her face. "(Y/N)..." I mumbled softly. "Absorb my....soul..." I saw her (E/C) eyes widen in shock, but she nodded and summoned her (F/C) soul. I summoned my fading soul, and she absorbed it without hesitation. Then, the world went black.

I opened my eyes to see that I was crying (F/C) tears, with a dead man below me, as I was holding a bone. I then heard someone speak wherever I was. "Heya Max...you kinda uh..you kinda share my body now." I heard (Y/N)'s voice say. I nodded slowly and decided not to speak. I then heard the police. "Run (N/N) (nickname)" I told her, and she sprinted away towards her home.

And that's where it all began. I watched her in the lab when she transformed, I saw her and her sister Frisk fall down into the Underground, I saw (Y/N) meet Sans and begin to have a crush on him, which made me jealous ever so slightly. I saw her change her form to protect Sans, I saw her dreams and nightmares, and the night Chara took over Frisk's body, I saw her.

I felt what (Y/N) felt her entire life, and when she died, I felt not only her pain of death, but her friend's pain. Most of the people understood, Frisk felt like her heart and soul was breaking along with (Y/N)'s, and Sans continued to tell himself it was just a dream. After (Y/N) died, I found myself in a black room, with nothing but memories. I heard soft footsteps from behind me, and my breath hitched when I heard their voice.

"M-Max?" (Y/N) asked. I slowly turned around and looked at her. She had a large slice in her chest, her tail still waved slowly behind her, and (F/C) tears started to form in her eyes. I smiled and walked up to her and summoned her soul. "Please Max...I don't want to die" She told me. "I know" I responded as I made the white part of her soul seep into the middle of the (F/C) part of her soul.

After a while, her soul was a white soul with a (F/C) outline. I felt myself fading, and I heard her voice say "Max..." one more time before I vanished. When I opened my eyes, I was in a room of darkness, and that girl, Chara, was standing in front of me. "You" I said through my teeth as I summoned a Gaster Blaster. "No Max! Don't hurt me...I'm not evil anymore" Chara said. When she looked up, her now caring black eyes interlocked with mine. "Sans killed my dark side, I don't wish to kill..." She said.

I made the Gaster Blaster vanish as I slipped my hands into my red hoodie. "Ok kid, I believe you. Where are we?" I asked. "Oh, we're in the void. We cease to exist here." Chara said. "But! One day, we may come back! As a new person, and start our life all over again." She said. I smiled at the thought of starting life again. "Did (Y/N) break the barrier?" I asked out of nowhere. "Uh..yeah. She actully did. Her and Sans are now dating, Papyrus and Mettaton are too, and Mom and Dad are just friends" Chara responded.

"Mom and Dad?" I asked, confused. "Oh! I meant Toriel and Asgore...sorry" Chara said, blushing. I snickered then walked over next to her and sat down. Chara sat down next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder. I blushed slightly and put my arm on her shoulders.

And that's where we now stand. It's been at least 10 years, and we've been waiting for us to start our life again. Then, a bright light appeared from behind us. We turned our heads and got up when we saw it was a soul. The soul was upside-down, and was white with a bright yellow outline. The soul then flew to me and ran into my chest. I gasped in shock and felt myself change.

I turned my head and looked at Chara, who was staring at me, open-mouthed. She summoned a full length mirror and I looked at myself. I had (H/C) hair with white tips (or black if you have white hair), my right eye was bright yellow and my left eye looked like a skeleton's eyesockets with a white pinprink in it. I looked fully human, except for my right hand, which was a skeleton hand. Then, blue and (F/C) particles surrounded me.

"Your going to live life again!" Chara exclaimed, grinning. "What about you?" I asked. "Oh don't worry! I'll have my turn!" Chara said, as I vanished.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a crib of some sorts, and when I tried to speak, I couldn't. I then realized I was a baby again. I then heard a door open and soft footsteps enter the room. I then saw a skeleton hand grab the edge of the crib and saw a skeleton looking down at me. I tried to think of who he was, then I realized, It was Sans.

"Hey (N/N), the kid's finally awake" Sans yelled out of the room. I heard footsteps running down the hallway, then the sound of falling. Sans chuckled and walked out the room. "Jeez (N/N) what am I going to do with you" I heard Sans mumble. "You know you don't have to call me (N/N), right?" I heard a familiar voice say. "Well I do. Now come and see Max, he's finally awake." Sans said.

I heard footsteps, then (Y/N)'s skeleton face poked up from the top of the crib. "Hey baby Max!" (Y/N) said in a cooing voice and she picked me up. I smiled and giggled slightly, which made (Y/N) grin. "He likes me!" (Y/N) said, looking up at Sans. "Well of course he likes you, your his mother" Sans said, shrugging as he leaned against the wall. Wait What?! (Y/N) is my mom!? Then, is Sans my dad?

I then heard the distant sound of the phone ringing, and Sans walked out of the room to answer it. (Y/N)...I mean mom... looked down at me and gave me a comforting smile. She then walked out of the room with me and walked into the living room. Sans then hung up the phone and walked over to (Y/N) and said, "Frisk and Paps are coming to see Max." "Great!" (Y/N) exclaimed, grinning.

I looked up at my new mom and dad and smiled. Maybe this new life won't be this bad...
