Viper's POV
I stared blankly at my computer screen, fingers flying across the keyboard. I bit my lip as beads of sweat appeared on my forehead. I lifted my purple and blue headphones off my head and shook my head, my short brown hair flying into my face. I pulled off my purple hoodie and sigh. I heard the sound of teleportation behind me as a blue and (F/C) glow bounced off my walls. "Heya Viper. How have you been?" I heard a deep voice ask. I gasped and grabbed my NERF rifle, turn around in my chair, and aimed.
I lowered my weapon and sighed in relief. "Oh hey Sans, (Y/N)" I greeted and smiled. (Y/N) narrowed her eyes at me and raised an eyebrow. "What was that gun for Viper?" Sans asked me. I shrugged. "Just in case anyone breaks into my room" I responded. "Uh...How will you defend yourself with a NERF gun?" Sans asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'll shoot the guy in the nuts" I said, smiling. Sans chuckled and (Y/N) smiled. "What if it's a girl?" (Y/N) asked. "Shoot them in the eye" I responded, shrugging.
"Why are you guys here anyways?" I asked. Sans and (Y/N) smiled. "We wanted to congratulate you on 1K reads!" (Y/N) exclaimed. I smiled softly, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Well you didn't have to..." I mumbled. "Oh course we did! You spent so much time on the book! You deserve it!" (Y/N) said, grinning. "Yeah...(N/N)'s right V. You did good" Sans said, shrugging as he sat down on my bed. "Well...I don't really like how the book turned out..." I mumbled softly.
"Really? Why?" (Y/N) asked, sitting down next to Sans. "Well...I was rereading it..and i hated the storyline..." I said, my hands curling into fists. "Really? I liked it a lot actually" (Y/N) said, shrugging. I looked down at my feet, and sighed. "I have a WAY better storyline idea...but i don't know what to do..." I mumbled. Sans stood up and stood in front of me. "Well...do ya have any ideas about what to do V?" Sans asked.
"Uh...yeah kinda..." I responded, looking up at him. "Well what are they?" (Y/N) asked. "Uh...W-Well i have 3 different ideas. The first one is unpublishing the book, rewriting it, then publishing it again. The 2nd one is create a different book, called 'A New Soul V.2' and keeping or unpublishing the old one. And the third one is not doing anything and keeping it the way it is..." I explained. Sans and (Y/N) nodded slowly. "Those seem like good ideas kiddo" Sans said, smiling at me.
I smiled softly back at Sans. "Well you should ask you readers after we leave" (Y/N) said. "Yeah...that sounds good (Y/N)" I responded. "Speaking of which, we should be going. We left Papyrus in charge of Max, and i have a feeling it's not going to well." Sans said, chuckling. I giggled and asked "How has Max been anyways?". "Oh he's been great! He mostly flies around instead of walks" (Y/N) said, giggling. I nodded slowly and grinned. "Well you two should be on your way!" I exclaimed.
"Yup. See ya later V." Sans said, winking at me and grabbing (Y/N)'s hand. They both waved to me and vanished in a puff of (F/C) and blue smoke. I sighed and turned back around in my chair to face my computer. I yawned and closed my computer screen. I turned back around to face my readers, and grabbed a small pierce of paper on my desk.
"Alright...*Ahem*. Hello Readers! Thank you SOO much for 1K reads! I've never thought this would happen!" I exclaimed, making random hand gestures as I spoke. "Now, as you must've heard, I have a new storyline for 'A New Soul'! It will be a Sans X Reader, of course. So...I gotta idea on how this is gonna work" I said, smiling. "I'm going to allow you readers to vote on what i should do with my book! I'll leave the voting up for 2 weeks..and I think I'll be out of school then..." I said. "Anyways! I'll post a chapter explaining what I'm gonna do with the story. If no one votes...I'll ask my IRL friends instead!" I exclaimed, giggling at the end. "I'll let you vote right here!" I said, pointing down at the four sentences below me.
What should I do?
1.Unpublish the book, rewrite it, and then publish it again
2.Write 'A New Soul V.2' and keep the old one
3.Write 'A New Soul V.2' and unpublish the old one
or 4.Do nothing and leave the book as it is
"Again! This vote will only last 2 weeks! After that, I won't take any votes! I'll make sure to write when the voting is over!" I exclaimed, leaning back in my chair until I fell backwards. I got up, dusted myself off, and grinned at the readers. "Anyways....BOI GUYS!" I ending off, satisfied.
