Chapter 1

- Y/n pov -
"I can't" I said to myself standing right next to the ship. But I have to, I can't go back now so I boarded the ship it took a couple weeks to get to America. Once the ship landed a house elf was holding up a sign with my name on it I was curious to see who had sent him so I approached the elf
"Hello?" I said
"Hello I take it your Y/n am I correct" the elf said
"Why else would I be standing here the real question is why are you here? Who sent you?" I said
"Your other house elf informed me that you would be coming" he said
"Other?.... so your?" I said really confused
"Taz mama pleaser to meet you Mrs. Hastings" he said bowing down
"Hastings?" I said to him
"I'll answer your question shortly but now let's go before the No-Majs gather" he said putting out his hand for me to grab before I can ask what a no-maj is. I was in front of a manor
"Who do you suppose lives here?" I asked the elf
"Well you do miss.. why else would I bring you here" Taz said being to walk to the manor
"Do you mean to say this manor is mine?" I asked
"Yes but here in America we use the term mansions" Taz said
"Oh....so..uh Hastings?" I said walking to the main hall
"The name your parents went by when they lived here" he said
"So this manor belongs to my parents?" I said
"No they've left this place for you" he said
"How did they know I was going to need it?" I asked
"No idea they lived her for a while until recently moving out.... do you wish to be shown around?" Taz asked
"I don't see why not" I said following the elf around the mansion it was smaller than the others back home but I didn't mind since it was just me.
"This is your room shall I have someone run you a bath or make your bed you must be tired traveling all the way from London" Taz said
"It's alright I can make my own bed" I said to Taz as I suggest he leave so I may sleep. Once the doors closed I crashed onto the bed. I was awaken by another house elf
"Hello miss I don't mean to disturb but it's almost 2 in the afternoon" he said
"I see & ugh who are you?" I asked
"Dip miss" he said bowing
"Why do you do that?" I said still asleep
"What do you mean?" He question as I stood up, but before I can answer him the room started spinning I was finding my way to the bathroom only to throw up the last breakfast I had on the ship
"Is everything alright miss" I can her dip say
"Oh yes it just the food from the ship that's been doing this to me recently" I said walking out
"Are you sure we can get you a doctor" dip said
"No I just need to get up & moving that's all" I said
~time passes~
looking through my stuff I thought to myself where all the money's coming I haven't had to worry about money in years the last time I had to worry was when I was on the streets. I thought to earn my own money but I haven't the slightest idea where to start.
"Where do you suppose I can find a job Dip" I asked one of the elfs he's now turned into a some what friend
"Well what are you looking for miss?" He said dusting of some the book shelfs
"Oh... um I don't really know I never really finished Hogwarts actually... OH!but I have always loved astrology, herbology & taking care of magical creatures" I said begging to smile
"Well miss you can always help in Ilvermorny it's just like Hogwarts only better" Dip said
"Yes but see miss you don't need to worry about money so there's no point" Taz said excusing dip away
"Yes but I am getting rather tired of being trapped in this house" I said
"Your not trapped miss" Taz said
"Alight I just want to meet new people my age" I said I need to start moving forward
"And forget" I said under my voice
"Alight miss I will call the car for you then" Taz said leaving the room.
~later~
"Alright miss so I suppose you have your wand permit right?" Taz said outside of the car window
"Wand permit?" I asked confused
"Not to worry I went ahead & got it for you" Taz said going over once again the rules on the American wizard world
"Oh & I almost forgot you have a meeting with the MACUSA around the time you get there so go straight to this address once you arrive" Taz said tapping on the glass instructing the drive to go. Everything was going good even the meeting with the MACUSA
"Well we are all happy that you agree to the laws & we are all sure there will be no conflict of any kind" the president spoke to me
"No mama no conflict at all" I said standing straight with a smile
"I don't know what I like most that accent or that smile" she said I can see her smile before everything goes dark. I woke up in hospital, needles & wires all around me. Around this time a lady walks in and then out as she sees me wake
"What's happen to me?... have you've done something to me?" I asked the man checking all the wires & writing stuff down
"Relax we haven't done a thing you've just fainted from you pregnancy are you eating well?..... Getting enough water or-"
"Pregnancy!?! what in devils name are you going on about!!" I interrupted the man who I now know is the doctor
"About your pregnancy you do know your pregnant right" the doctor said I shock my head no I'm to surprised to say anything
"Well congratulation" the president of MACUSA said coming in & making the doctor leave
"Is this why your here, running from a man or your parents" she asked crossing her arms
"I was running from love.... but I had no idea I was pregnant... oh my... IM Pregnant" I said with tears of happiness & sadness
"& that you are child shall I inform the father" she said I thought to say YES OF COURSE but then I remembered why I left it was safer here than it was there I don't even know who won the war
"No" I said to the president.
