What if before the start of Sonic Generations, they planned to have the party at Sonic's house. A place so obscure, only Tails knew it existed besides Sonic himself. What if the reason was because of one book, a book Sonic kept hidden for their own...
Are you sure this is Sonic's house? Rouge questioned. She looked around the dusty, barren living room, balancing the cake in her hands. Tails coughed, swatting a spider web. Yes, I'm sure, he told me that if he ever disappeared, check his house. Tails frowned. But then he warned me not to come here besides in an emergency. He looked around nervously. Are you sure we should be here? Amy rolled her eyes. It's not like this place is dangerous, I mean, not counting suffocation from all this dust! She said, taking out one of the party napkins to dust off the fireplace.
*cough* *cough*! Cream fell backwards from the dust, bumping into another door, opening it up and dropping the streamers she was holding. Cream! Tails went over to check on her, but stopped when he looked at the next room. What's in there? Blaze asked, eyeing the doorway warily. That's where we can help! Vector chirped, excited. Come on boys, look for clues! Espio rolled his eyes but proceeded to help him. He learned the hard way that if you don't help Vector, he will have a tantrum. Yay! Sherlock time! Charmy shouted, proceeding to buzz around the room excitedly.
Or we could just GO IN... Shadow said, having grown impatient with the Chaotix hours ago. Cream got up, letting Tails and the rest, excluding the Chaotix, enter the mystery room. Whoa... Tails breathed in wonder. Hey, what's that? Cream pointed at a guitar medallion sitting on a cushion, shining like it was just polished. Uh, nothing! Knuckles said, quickly putting a blanket over the medallion, sweating nervously. Rouge looked at him, suspicious, but Knuckles hurriedly led everyone forward and away from the medallion.
Hey look! Books! Silver pointed. But I've never seen him read before.... Tails said, confused. Amy picked up one of them. Sonic and..... the Black Knight? She read. Of course he would have a book about himself. Shadow mumbled. Wait, I sense something from that book... Blaze shrunk away from the book. And whatever it is, it's not something we want to mess with. Oh come one, it's just a book! Amy opened it up. NO! But before Blaze could stop her, the book dropped to the ground, a strange mist coming out of it.
Uh oh... Amy said, eyes wide. Yeah, uh oh! blaze shouted, scared. Everybody hold on! Silver said, preparing for whatever was about to happen. Good idea! Amy clung to Silver like velcro. AH! NOT ME! He tried getting Amy off, but he only got closer to the book. AAAHHHH! They screamed as they were sucked into the book. Everybody run! Tails shouted. He tried to fly away, but the wind was against him. Tails! Cream shrieked, falling towards the storybook. Cream! He tried reaching for her hand, but only succeeded in getting them both sucked into the book. NO! Blaze looked at Rouge, who both nodded in agreement. We're coming for you! They shouted, diving into the book. NO! GIRLS! Knuckles shouted, who was holding on as best he could. Shadow went in after them. Shadow! Knuckles shrieked. he looked around and realized that no one else was in the room. Why did I get into this business?! He frowned, and let go. As he was sucked into the book, the pages closed the book, leaving the room as quiet as it was before.

Merlina's eyes shot open as she felt her staff vibrate. She looked at it, and saw the jewel on top was glowing. The knight of the wind has returned! She whispered. What was that Merlina? A hedgehog who looked like a certain pink hedgehog we know asked. Quickly Nimue, to the magic clearing! The young sorceress ran out of the pavilion. What was she running for mother? A black and red hedgehog wearing armor asked Nimue. A reason that must be important Lancelot. She said grimly, quickly running after Merlina. Here, let me mother. Lancelot held his "mother" bridal style and raced after Merlina.
As they ran, they passed a purple cat and a silver hedgehog wearing armor. Galahad! Percival! Come on! Lancelot shouted. What's going on? Percival asked, running next to him. Merlina has had a revelation! Nimue shouted over the wind. It must be important for you to be here! Galahad shouted, levitating near Percival. I can sense it must be. Percival commented.
As they came upon the magic clearing, they stopped and gasped as they saw a portal opening up in the clouds. The knight of the wind! Merlina shouted, the wind be whipped up from the portal. He's back?! Percival shouted in shock. They all watched the portal as someone coming out. AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! Let me go Amy! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS SILVER! The knights looked on in confusion. Oh forget this! the person (or two, as it sounded like) suddenly was covered in cyan glow, levitating down slowly. The knights rushed to see who it was.
Amy brushed the dust off her dress, still a little frazzled. Silver shook out his quills, trying to get Amy's flowery scent off of him. When I said hold on, I meant onto a shelf or something! He shouted, shooting a glare at Amy. I was nervous, don't judge me! She retorted. What on Camelot... Lancelot said, eyes wide in shock at seeing his adoptive mother in a SHORT red dress, and right in front of his adoptive mother...
wait....
What's going on?! He shouted, looking at Merlina. I-I don't know Lancelot..... The sorceress whispered. This doesn't make sense...
Wait... Silver looked up. DUCK! he screamed, pushing Amy out of the way as Tails and Cream came down. CREAM! Amy shrieked, eyes fearful for her best friend. Tails blinked out of his stupor as he realized Cream was unconscious, she had probably hit something before getting sucked in. He grabbed her, twirling his tails, and glided to the ground. The blacksmith! Percival said, recognizing him. And isn't that the medical woman's daughter? Silver pointed at Cream. Ya know, the one that leaves flowers for him?
Tails looked at them, completely shocked. Blaze? Silver? But.... As he realized something was up, he looked up and saw Blaze and Rouge diving down. Hold on Flames. Roue said, grabbing Blaze's arms and flapping her wings and, like Tails, glided to the earth. Ouch! She hissed. Blaze let go and dosed her flames. Don't call me that. Blaze grumbled. Ok ok, sheesh... The bat looked up and saw Shadow coming down. Hold on for a second, I'll get him. Tails trying to fly up, but Rouge pulled him down. No need. She replied, watching him.
CHAOS CONTROL!
And just like that, Shadow was on the ground, glaring at everyone, especially Amy. WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! He shouted, stomping towards Amy. Whoa! Shadow, calm down! Rouge tried to retrain him, but only stopped him a little. It was Lancelot however who stopped him. The knight, still in shock but not about to let him hurt her, whether or not she was his real adoptive mother or not, drew out his sword and stepped in front of Amy. Hello! Rouge let go, surprised. Shadow stopped, still angry but shocked now as well.
As they locked eyes, Lancelot shook it off. What business do you have hurting her? he asked, eyes burning into his twin. She's the reason we're here, now this isn't your concern! Shadow tried to go around him, but Lancelot just stepped to the side to stop him. According to the code of a knight, it IS my concern when you are about to hurt an innocent. Shadow snorted, his version of a laugh. Her? innocent? Do you know what she does? Lancelot eyes narrowed and slapped his twin. You have not right to talk that way about a lady! Especially about the Lady of the Lake's twin!
Amy and the rest of them gasped. Wh-What? She said faintly. And that's when she blacked out, leaving Lancelot to carry her. He blushed as he realized he was touching a woman's bare arm. And not to mention when she fell, her skirt, umm... well let's just say it's a very compromising situation for AMY'S time, much less Nimue's time. The knight's quickly looked away, blushing redder than Sir Gawain, but Nimue stared wide eyed at the catastrophe. And with that, Lancelot was carrying two version of his adoptive mother.

What?
I know, I still have Fluttershy's doll to finish, but I was itching to do a Sonic story, even if he's not exactly the main character... ;) Don't worry, he will be mentioned as the story goes on, and he will be there at the end. I wanted to do a Black Knight arc, but I couldn't think of a way to transition them into that world, until I remembered a hedgecanon somewhere that said that Sonic might have a house filled with his treasures from past adventures, and my brain just starting working. Next chapter we get to see a bit more of the crew, including Gawain (Knuckles counterpart), the Blacksmith (Tails' counterpart), and the medicine woman's daughter (Cream's counterpart). Next chapter I will also put a list in the beginning of current and future counterparts you will see in the series. Well, gotta go, and remember, gotta go fast, am I right?
