Starco Short Christmas Story

{Third Person}

Star woke up exitedly for Christmas Day. She threw her covers to the floor and hopped out. " ITSSS CHRISTMASS!!!!" She screamed. She heard noises in Marco's room and skipped down the hallway to check out what had happened. She threw the door open and saw him shuffling through his drawers ( NOT HIS UNDERWEAR YOU LITTLE DIRTY RASCALS )
" Marcooo whatcha looking for."
He turned his face and saw Star at his door way.
" Oh-Uh nothing Star! I just lost s-something." He stuttered. He wasn't lieing, he had lost his Christmas present for Star.
" Oh can I help then? " she tilted her head.
" NO YOU CANT- you can't help me! "
" WHY NOT?! "
Star was offended. Does Marco think she isn't helpful? Marco started pushing her out.
" Because it's a surprise Star! "
Marco started blushing. Star noticed him blushing and started to say, " OH OH is it for JACK-" Marco pushed her out the doorway and interrupted, " NO NO NOT FOR JACKIE!! " and shut the door in her face. Star shrugged and pushed the situation aside. She had caused enough pressure on him it looked like. She headed downstairs to help with the cooking.

{Marco's POV}

I turned and put my back to the door. She couldn't find out what it was. I forgot to wrap it last night and put it under the tree. I am sooo nervous! What if she doesn't like it!? What if she doesn't like me back!? She saw me blush... and thought it was Jackie... but I don't like Jackie anymore. Star was so perfect. Her beautiful sandy hair and blue eyes remind me of the sea. She accepted me. I just hope she will accept me after today.

{Star's POV}

As I helped Mrs Diaz with breakfast I couldn't help but think what Marco's surprise was. Maybe it is for Jackie but he is too embarrassed.
" Mrs Diaz? "
She looked at me concerned.
" Yes, what is it Star? "
I wanted to ask her about... boys.
" When was your first boyfriend? "
She looked around for Mr Diaz but he was organizing gifts for each person.
" Well, I was about your age. Why do you ask? Is Marco bothering you? "
I looked shocked. I had to fake it out... Marco is bothering me, he has been acting weirdly.
" No! He isn't bothering me, it's just, how do boys react around people they like? " I had assumed she had to know. She had a boyfriend before.
" Well it depends on the guy and his personality. Some guys are outgoing and handsome. Like my little PH.D Marco! Or like others, how they are kept to their self. "
I knew she was wrong on Marco on the outgoing part. He isn't the most outgoing person I had ever met. But she was right about one thing, Marco is pretty handsome!

( everyone ate breakfast, but it was awkward between Star and Marco. They both picked up their heads to look at eachother but once their eyes met, they looked back down blushing. )

{Third Person}

Star and Marco sat beside the tree to open presents. They sat pretty far from eachother to keep distance. The Diaz's were upstairs getting dressed. Star zapped Marco and put a Christmas sweater on him with her face on it. He started blushing hard.
" S-STAR! "
She put her hand on his shoulder and zapped herself.
" TA- DA!!"
He looked at her with big eyes. She was wearing her green antlers headband and a sweater with his face on it.
" MATCHING SWEATERS!! "
Star paused and saw Marco blushing and looking down at the sweater.
" Thanks Star. "
" Marco is something wrong? You look sad! "
She hugged him and he hugged back and mouthed, " Hehe Star, I'm not sad I just am thankful you are with me. You are always there for me and you accept me for who I am. That's what I like best about you. "
He handed Star a small pink case. Star was staring at him with big eyes and blushing.
" Ma- Marco? "
She took the case and opened it. The early morning light and the lights on the tree shined on a yellow star shaped locket necklace. She opened the small locket, her eyes glowed. A picture of her and Marco and said "best friend".
" Marco! I love it! Thank you! She leaped for a hug but accidentally fell on top of him. Marco layed on the floor and Star was ontop of him centimeters from his nose. They both felt their faces going red.
" S-star? "
" Marco! I-I'm sorry! I'll get u-"
Marco interrupted her again and said," No Star it's okay I need to tell you something.."
It was so awkward. Marco looked at floor away from Star and blushed more.
" I-I lo-love you S-Star."
Star looked shocked. She thought he loved Jackie! She likes Marco... but she thought for a second. She sat up with her hands on his chest. Marco sat up slightly with his elbows on the ground. A fire burned in Stars chest, but it didn't hurt, it felt.... amazing.
" Marco. "
" Star? "
" I- I love you too! " She exclaimed.

{Marco's POV}

She loved me? I thought... never mind! I love her so much. She looks so pretty. I can't help but...

{Star's POV}

I can't believe this is happening! Marco said Christmas was full of surprises but I wasn't expecting this I mean he is so adorable and handsome I never thought he would like me back and oh no I'm rambling I should just- MMPH!!

{Third Person}

Marco couldn't help it. He grabbed her soft cheeks and kissed her. Star kissed back and squeezed his sweater. They pulled each other close. After about a minute they closed the kiss. Star put her arms around him.
" Wow Marco you are a really good kisser! "
Marco blushed.
" Ha, you too Star. "

After all of this the Diaz's came down and they all opened presents together.
