A Dark Deal (Markiplier x Reader)

A short 4 months later, you had gained a ton more subscribers after doing a couple collabs with Markiplier. You two were the best of friends now, and hung out a lot.

"And I'll see you, in the next video. Bye-Bye!" You hear Markiplier in the video say. The game he was playing had been terrifying!

"Chica, that's my icecream!." Mark says in a silly voice.

He walked out to his car, pulling the door open.

You sigh, wishing you had someone with you, wishing you had someone to love, someone to care for.

He turned suddenly, looking at your house, seemingly staring right at you. His eyes flashed for a second, his skin turned a ghastly gray, and he smiled, showing off sharpened, gleaming white teeth.

But just as soon as it appeared, it vanished, as if you only imagined the change. 

Mark shrugged and turned around, helping his little boy into his booster seat, and climbed in himself.

Only after you were sure he was completely gone, you allowed yourself to shriek, running upstairs to grab your laptop.

You open another tab and search your suspicions up. The top results that popped up confirmed your theory.

You hop up, leaving your laptop open. You take a shower, changing into a Markiplier shirt, a pair of black jeans, your favorite f/c converse, and a soft blue jacket that resembles Sans' hoodie. (From Undertale. I'm not a huge fan, I'm more into FNaF, but....so...yeah) 

You pull your h/c hair into f/h/s (meaning favorite hair style, btw) put on light, simple makeup to complete your outfit.

You hoped you had remembered his address right, because it would be kind of awkward if you walked in, using the spare key he gave you, but instead of him living there, he had moved and others had moved in. You shudder and hope to god that's not the case.

You drive around the neighborhood you remembered him living in and stopped in front of his house.

You rummaged through your purse until you came across the silver key. You were about to use it when you noticed a second car in his driveway. Figuring he must have guests, you thought about ringing the doorbell. Being the little sh*t that you are, you hurried through unlocking the door and swung it open.

2 short rings were heard, signaling to any inside the home that the door had been opened.

"Were you expecting anyone?" A heard a male voice ask. 

'Great!' You thought excitedly. 'He's here!'

"Matt?" You ask, your voice ringing through the silent room.

You hear the sounds of two people speeding through the house, now standing in front of you.

"Who is she Mat? Do you know her?" The female asks, and you were surprised to hear jealously tinging her voice.

"Stephanie, this is Y/N." Matt introduced. "Y/N, this is my wife, Stephanie." You nodded, holding back an 'oh' of understanding. Now the jealousy made sense.

"Hi." Stephanie greeted kindly. "What can we do for you?" 

You glance at Matt for a second, and he looks back at you. He knows what your trying to tell him and he gestured towards his wife with his eyes. She seems to notice and is taken aback.

"What now, Matt? Are you cheating on me?" She sounded hurt, and you realize that there's no way you and Matthew could have this talk alone without her getting suspicious.

"We..could......tell her?" Matt said/asked, confused. The rules for holding these types of secrets were kind of blurred, as not many people have had to hold this burden or at least make set instructions on what to do and what not to do.

"Well, I guess we could. But she can't tell anyone." You agree, Matt nods and turns to Stephanie as you do the same.

"What we're about to tell you is highly top secret information, and you can't tell anyone." Mat starts, looking at you to continue telling what we vowed to never tell.

You sigh nervously, then start explaining. "Okay, so.....

You were probably expecting that Cliffhanger, right?

and the name of the chapter might've given away the person she was meeting with for some of you lol

I love MatPat and might do a Matthew x reader fanfic later, not saying I don't think Stephanie is amazing, which she is. And MatPat and Steph are PERFECT. I've never seen any two people who go together as well as them.

Anyway, I loved writing this chapter, has to be one of my all-time favorites!
