Little pup race (chapter 1)

Twist and kip were having an argue meant because
Flashback-
"Hey Kip! I bet I'm faster than you" said twist
"Yeah right!" Yelped kip
"Bet I could beat you in a race" said twist
"Nun uh" said kip and so on...
End of flashback-
"IM FASTER!!!!!" screamed kip
"Sheesh" is all that twist said
"HEY! Why don't we have a race" suggested russle
"OK!" Twist and kip said in sync.
They asked Luna if she will be the ref
"Sure I have nothing better to do" she simply said
"YAY!" They all said together.
Luna and the pups went to a area near by were there weren't many things to trip on.
"Line up" Luna said
All the pups lined up as told
"I'm gonna win" said kip
"NO I WILL!" Said twist
Russle snorted "we all know I'm going to win."
Twist & kip stared at him blankly kip was about to protest but Luna said
"On your mark, get set, GO!!!"
And with that the pups we're off.
Kips POV
"I'm so going to win!" He thought
He was running as fast as he could go which wasn't very fast...
I jumped over a log but of course..I tripped over a stone...
I fell face first
"owwwww" I mound out
I got back up, that wasn't going to stop me!
I started running again I knew I needed to beat twist!
I had too! If I lose to HIM I'm going to be so embarrassed....
I dodged a falling "STONE?" It nearly hit me
I knew someone was doing this but I didn't have time to care (AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR DAT! XD) my legs felt so weak, my heart pounding in my chest threatening to bust out. I saw the finish line, could I make it? Maybe...

Russell's POV.
I saw the finish line, it was so close! Wait is that kip? "MOVE!" I screamed but not I time we bumped into each other, it hurt
"Ow!" Yelped kip
"I told you to move!" I snapped
But kip payed no attention and he ran off.
Wait...
HES GONNA WIN!
I ran easily passing him because he's extremely slow.
Wait we're is twist? Oh well. I almost crossed the finish line and....
KIP JUMPED OVER ME AND PASSED IT! I came in second but we're is twist?
I started to get uneasy..
"Kip, do you know we're twist is?" I asked the small wolf
"NoPe" he replied popping the 'P' just then i got smacked in the face by of course...twist "DID I WIN?!??" Twist said excited "no" Luna said
"Awwww, who won?" Twist said
"Kip..." I said
"HOW?!?" He said.
We all headed back to the den exhausted.
"That was fun!" Kip said
Me and twist agreed And we all lied down
Kip fell asleep first. Then Twist. I was still awake but i felt my eye lids get heavy and soon i fell asleep.
