Chapter 10 - Hello Love

Sebastian's Pov

I stood next to my young master stunned, staring at the bloody mess that was N/m. Seeing her in this state fueled me with anger. I heard her mumble something but my mind was already filled with so many questions that I couldn't process what she was saying. 'Who did this to her? How did this happen to her?'

As I continued to ask myself questions my thoughts were cut off when I heard a 'Thump'. I quickly composed myself and realized that the sound had come from the now unconscious N/m hitting the ground. Just as I was about to pick her up and tend to her wounds, somebody picked up N/m's almost lifeless form by her hair and held a sword to her neck. It was then I realized what sword was being held up to N/m's neck. I cursed under my breath as I also realized who had done this to N/m. I slowly take my eyes off of N/m's form only to be met with a pair of amber eyes I had grown to despise.

"What is the meaning of this Claude?!" My young master asked as I clenched my jaw and began inching my way over towards him. Claude saw me doing this though and he began slowly putting pressure onto N/m's neck which caused me to halt all of my movement. I could tell by the look in his eyes that he enjoyed seeing me like this. Claude let out a quick emotionless sigh and stared at my young master.

"You see Earl Phantomhive, my master has grown quite fond of your maid here. He paused his previous plans just to get her. Besides..." He turned his head to me, "I do miss my dear lover oh so terribly." I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. 'He called her that at the ball. What is he talking about.' I looked over at my young lord and saw that he had a similar look of confusion written across his face. Ciel looked like he was lost in thought so I took it upon myself to clear things up.

"Why do you keep calling her that Claude? Your lover?" I say trying to keep my composure. Claude quickly flicked his head back towards me and gave me a rare smug smile. "Has she not told you yet?" I quickly took notice that Ciel had pulled himself from his thoughts.

"Tell me this instant Claude. What has my maid been hiding from me?!" Ciel shouted, clearly frustrated. "Oh trust me. As much fun as it would be to tell you I'm afraid our dear N/m's life I close to slipping away so I must go." Claude quickly picks N/m up, and before I could stop him he was gone.

As if on instinct I began running to bring back N/m but was stopped by a certain Young Lord.
"No Sebastian you are to stay here by my side." My eyes quickly flashed to their demon form, our contract restricting me from making anymore movement away from Ciel. Why was he stopping me? I needed to get to her. I ball both my hands into fist and let out a frustrated sigh.

"Yes... my Lord."

'Where am I? Why can't I see anything? Why does everything hurt? Why has my world become.... Dark.' Questions filled my head. 'Am I with Sebastian, did Claude get to me, or am I dead?' I feel so helpless not knowing anything.

"Wake....love..." What?... Who was that?... The voice continued to speak. "N/m you need to wake up love..." The voice said as the sentence began forming completely. 'Why does that voice sound so familiar?' Suddenly out of nowhere I felt as If I was drowning which caused my once tired eyes to shoot open. When I opened my eyes I was met with a surprisingly dark erie room with a single source of light coming from the corner. Soon the drowning feeling became worse and my lungs began to feel as if they were burning.
