My Name is Violet Moon. And let me just say, I did not know any of this would happen......

Me and my sister, well we've been on our own since I was sixteen. My mom moved us to a little town in New Jersey when we were quite young. Then she died on us... well died is a lenient term, she was more like murdered, well it was more like suicide , any away this event occurred a total of two years ago, and.... I'll just let this explain.......

"Mom," I laughed at her, she had the most beautiful blue hair. I would always ask her where it came from, and she always told me it's a weird mutation She was born with, that She had passed it on to me and my sister, and that's why our hair look the way it did. Little did I know, our hair was a curse, one that could be broken, but was dangerous if not.

"It's not even that hard, my love." She said as she rubbed icing on my face,"Viv, show her how it's done."

My sister chuckled and began mixing and stirring. Vivian has always been the better chef. She could make five course meals, while the only things I could manage not to burn was ramen and microwave mac&cheese. We continued to laugh and cook when the door bell rung.

"I'll go see who it is, you girls just keep cooking."

I now wish I had noticed how fidgety she was, how nervous. Maybe I could have stopped her, even though that choice could have resulted in my early demise.

A loud crash came from the living room. "Mom are you alright." I said, there was no answer. "Mom, this isn't funny, is everything alright." I said walking to the room. Everything was not alright. Her lifeless dead-like body, was laying there all bloody and broken. She had a message carved into her stomach. 'You have been freed,' it said. I herd a scream, later on I found out it was my own. She was still breathing so I rushed to her side, calling 9-1-1 as I kneeled down to her.

"Mom, everything gonna be alright." I felt Vivian kneeling next to me, I herd her silently sob.

"It will now, just know that I love you girls. Know that everything happens for a reason. This happened for a reason." I didn't know what she meant then, but two years later I would find out the reason.

The year after that was rough. I watched my mom be lowered in a casket into the ground. There were people at the funeral I never seen before. Like a brunette woman named Piper, little did I know she would become important later on.

I got to feel what the first Christmas without my mother felt like. Our aunt came to live with us, until she meet a man, the women was still our gradian, but instead of living with us, she left from Alabama, only coming back every two months with money, and new clothes. I got a job to help sustain the money we had, putting  half the money she gave us into a bank account so, we had extra.

This is how life went on, until years, when thing changed. I never knew how someone could captivate me,  until I became charmed.......
