Chapter 4: Really?

Carolina's P.O.V

I got up and walked to Levi.

"Hey LevLev. Guess what?" I said.

"What?" He asked.

"My mom said that you can move in with me if it's okay with your momma." I said.

"Really?" He asked.

I nodded.

He picked me up in a hug and spun around.

I giggled and he sat me down, pecking my lips.

He put a blue flannel on and put his boots on.

I got up and put on blue converse.

"Lets go see what there is to do in this town." Levi said.

"Alright." I said smiling at him.

We walked downstairs and there was a soldier on the couch.

"Hello?" I said, holding Levi's hand.

The person turned around and he looked familiar.

"Hey Gab." He said.

"Ryan?" I choked out, sinking to the floor.

"Hey baby sis." He said.

"No, no, no. You're dead, I have your dog tags." I said, crying.

I looked up at Levi and he was staring in shock.

"Presumed dead and I lost those." He said with a smile.

I stood up shakily and walked towards him.

I wrapped my arms around him and sobbed into his neck as he hugged me close.

I leaned back and put my hands on either side of his face to get a good look at him.

"Ryan." I whispered.

"How?" I asked.

Levi was still staring in shock.

We sat down on the couch and he said, "Well, me and my squadron were in the headquarters when it was bombed and it gave us amnesia you know, so we made our way into the town and a family took us in until we got better."

I hugged him and sighed.

"Where's mom and dad?" He asked as I pulled away from him.

"I don't really know." I said.

"Well,come here Levi." Ryan said.

I stared in shock at him still while he greeted Levi.

I thought for a second then asked, "How'd you know we live here?"

"Tech guy on the base." He said.

I nodded in understanding and stared at him.

" Got a staring problem?" He asked, laughing.

"No. I just can't believe it." I said quietly.

"Baby sis, I'm here. I'm not going to leave you again, I promise." He said, grabbing my hand.

Ryan sat back down on the couch and I sat on his lap while Levi sat beside Ryan.

I hugged him tight and asked, "Is this real?"

"Yes Gab. It's real, I'm real. I'm here." He said, quietly.

Levi grabbed my foot and I looked at him.

Levi had tears in his eyes but a smile on his face.

I grabbed Ryan's hand and said, "I love you bro."
