Constant Fear

There Isn't Enough

I saw met up with hunter in a classroom. He opened a closet full of gun and pulled a big one out and a small one. He brought me outside and we climbed up a ladder to a watch tower that I have never noticed before. I looked out at the world that was outside of the wall. A few of the infected were roaming around. I noticed the train tracks and thought that we were probably the last to arrive here ever again. After a while I got the hang of it and shot a few of the infected. He taught me how to stab them as well. It's amazing how fast I learned and after a few more days I would be ready. After we were done I met up with Belle's family and my brother. We ate and while we were I told them all that I could teach them. They were all up for it.

A few days went by and I was ready and I was prepared to fight. I was still fearful of them though. I saw Hunter getting geared up to go out. "Hey could I come with you I think i'm ready to fight in front of them." I asked him. "Ever encountered one before?" He asked me. "Yes." I answered. "Before you came here?" He asked me again. "No it was a few weeks ago in the basement." I told him. "Oh well guess that story didn't spread." He said. "Yes I only told a few people and we decided to keep it a secret." I told him. "I see. Well I don't know. I mean I guess." He said unsure. "Okay it's a deal. I'm coming with you." I said to him. "Fine, but don't wander off alone. It's really dangerous and you don't have as much experience." He told me. He gave me some gear then we were out the door. We climbed up a ladder that he put out and then he put it on the opposite side and then we were off. He ran ahead of me and gabbed his ax off his belt and slammed it through one of the infected. He was so good at it. At first I was scared to go out and scared I would get bitten but since he was here there was no way you could be scared. I felt protected and I knew he wouldn't let anyone get bitten. Once it was clear we ran into the woods. There was a few more of them. "Come on use your knife and stab them." He told me. I felt a bit nervous but he was right next to me so I got the courage to do it. I powerfully stabbed it in the chest and and feel the the ground. My knife was still inside of it so I tried to get it out and I did. For the next one he told me to shoot it and I didn't from a distance.

I killed a ton of the infected along the way to where we were heading. I wasn't exactly sure where we were going. We finally stopped at a food market. He handed me a bag and we walked in. "Gather what you can find. We could use anything. Scream if you're in danger as well." He said. I nodded and then we went separate ways. I grabbed some boxes off food and some cans. I turned my head and saw a pharmacy. I ran to it. I opened the door to it and saw two infected in it. I grabbed my knife and ran to it and stabbed one in the head and the other in the chest. I was proud of myself for doing it by myself. I gathered all of them from a self until the bag was full so I found a bigger one and got all of the medicine. I met back up with Hunter. "Great you got a lot of stuff." He said. "Yeah there was a pharmacy so I grabbed all the medicine there was." I told him. "That's awesome! They specifically asked me to get medicine but I didn't guarantee it." He told me. I smiled then he grabbed one of the bags from me to help me. We were heading back. I killed a lot of the infected on the way back.
