We stood with our figures holding each other for another few minutes, and then Nate placed a light kiss on my head.

"I don't know you that well yet, I want to" he said.

I look up at him while still engulfed in his arms, "well, what do you want to know?"

He started working his fingers up my spine until they met with my hair, which he began to twirl. I watched him hesitate for a moment before he asked the first question.

"What was your first impression of me?" he asked.

"Well, honestly, I thought you were cute and I was kind of intimidated," I admitted.

His face flushed with a red tone after hearing what I had said, "why were you intimidated?"

"Have you seen yourself Nate? You're not too hard on the eyes," I laughed.

He loosened his grip on me as he laughed at my response.

"What about me?" I asked, "what did you think the first time you saw me?"

"To be honest, I heard you trying to calm yourself down while getting your tattoo before I saw you, but you just sounded funny. Didn't know once I turned around I would see all of what you are," he smiled down at me.

I blushed a bit and broke eye contact, "what would all of me be exactly?"

His grip tightened around my waist again, "the way that your face lights up when you smile, or the ability you have to spread laughter to a room full of strangers. I don't know, you're just you and I haven't ever met someone who's so comfortable with themselves before."

Without even noticing, the dark had fully set, we spent about an hour like this talking in each other's arms. I look up at him trying to hide the smile that formed as he spoke the nicest words I'd heard in a while. All that I could make out in the dark were the highlights of his face that some of the lights on the roof top were hitting. He somehow looked just as good right then and there as he always did.

"Thanks Nate, really, that means a lot."

He was staring out at the view, and looked back at me the moment I finally spoke up. We locked eyes for a second and he started to lean forward a bit. Our lips met, and managed to hold onto that short instant for what felt like another hour.

By now it was roughly 9:00 and the locals were heading out to party, the sounds of the street life below us made us laugh causing us to break the kiss. Some man yelled something about losing his phone and continued to cuss over it for the next few minutes.

We stood there and laughed about it for a bit, until the man finally gave up and stopped yelling.

"Should I be taking you home soon?" Nate asked.

"Probably soon, I gotta be up kind of early for work," I respond while frowning.

"Its okay, we have next time too," he smiled.

We broke out of each other's arms for the first time in an hour now, I shivered as the cold of the night instantly ran through my body. Nate saw me shiver and immediately grabbed my hand.

"You okay there?" he laughed.

"Yeah, it's just colder than I expected it to be, didn't even notice cause you were like a space heater," I smirked.

"Well I better keep you warm then," he gripped my waist and leaned in to kiss me again.

"That was even better than the first time?" I laughed.

Nate smiled, as he tightened his grasp on my hand.

We began to clean up our dinner and toss the remnants. Once we cleaned up completely, Nate opened the door that led back into the building, and I walked in. We passed through the same path we followed to get up to the roof.

In a few minutes we were back in Nate's car. He turned up the music and we sang along for the remainder of the ride back to my house.

About half an hour passes and we pull into my drive way, Nate turns the car off and gets out. He quickly rushes to my side of the car to open the door for me, just like he did before we left.

I thank him and get out. We ended up leaning on his car and talking for a bit. We learned more random things about each other like favourite colours, foods, music and then held hands for a bit. It was now near 11:30 at night. I regained my balance from leaning on his car and Nate did the same.

"Well, it's late so I should probably let you go eh?" he asked.

"I should probably head to bed soon, but thanks Nate, tonight was awesome," I said and smiled.

He pulled me in for another hug, and then walked me to my door. As soon as we get there, we kiss and then say goodnight.
