Liz's P.O.V.

I got up and opened the door, surprised to see Alex on the other side of the door.

"Hey, can we talk?" he asked, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Sure," I said after a few beats of silence as I weighed my options to myself.

"Thanks," he nodded, walking into the room behind me.

I sat on the couch, tucking my feet beneath me.

"Whats up?" I asked, then mentally slapped my forehead when I realized how stupid that question was.

"I just wanted to check on you," he said.

"I am doing ok, just tired," I said as convincly as I could.

"Ok, well I know a break up can be hard so if you want to talk I am here," he said, turning to leave.

"Thank you," I said and realized that had been the most honest thing I had said about the break up this whole time.

He nodded and began walking towards the door again. It was then my phone decided to ding letting me know I had a text message. I sighed, knowing it would be from anon and opened it.

"Why is Austin onstage with the other boys and not being himself- what did you do!? This all your fault!!" -anon

My fault!? This person cannot possibly be blaming me! I had not been planning on doing anything like I did in the next thirty seconds but everything went in slow motion- one moment I was staring at my phone and the next it was thrown across the room in anger. Once that registered, I looked at Alex with a panic in my eyes. He must have sensed that I was hiding something that I should not be hiding because we both raced towards the phone lying on the ground.

"Alex, please don't," I cried, but it was too late.

"Liz, who is this?" he asked, looking up from the screen.

"Please," I began, choking back my tears.

"No, Liz who did this?" he repeated.

"I-I do not know okay?! I do not know! Just some person that has been texting me!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms in the air out of frustation.

"Are they the reason you broke up with Austin?" he asked.

I could see his face lighten as he mentally put the pieces together.

"The text at the park was them wasn't it?" he added.

I nodded as I cried.

"They said that if I did not do it they would hurt everyone I cared about," I admitted.

"Come here," he said, gently pulling me forward and holding against his chest. "Sh. You need to tell them."

"No, I cannot do that! Did you not just hear what I said?" I almost yelled, pushing him away.

"But, I already know. You need to at least tell Niall," he said.

Just then, I heard the boys come over the intercom again and announce Austin for the second time that night.

"Bye, Liz," Alex said, waving as he walked out.

I waved and layed back down on the couch, drying my eyes before the guys came in. A few minutes later the door opened, announcing the boys' entrance.

"Hey boys, good show. It sounded amazing," I said, smiling.

"Thank you," they smiled.

"You're welcome," I nodded, closing my eyes.
