Jigs observes that Raquim's wound healed quickly. Jigs offers to take Raquim with him to the province.

Jigs introduces Raquim as a foreigner. Raquim tells them he came from Sapiro, which the locals thought to be in Europe.

Gurna asks Pirena where Raquim and Amihan were, but she knows nothing, and is content so long as they were away.

Jigs introduces Raquim to his wife Choleng. Choleng complains after learning that they have no money. She eventually agrees, on the condition that they would not be a burden.

Jigs brings Raquim to the mines, so he can work as a miner. Using his Sapiryan abilities, Raquim easily finds gold.

Amihan is left to Choleng. So many birds gathered and sang for Amihan that the locals wondered. Minea sent the birds to watch over Amihan.

Since Raquim and Amihan were absent, Hagorn deduces that they were the ones who left through the portal. Hagorn orders Gurna to find the key of Asnamon.

Years passed. Raquim was able to have a small house of his own. He taught Amihan Enchan and swordsmanship. Amihan wondered why her father had not yet sent her to school. A boy takes the food that Amihan brought. He was attacked by a colorful bird. This was witnessed by  Choleng and her friend, who opined they were not real humans.

The other miners began wondering why Raquim always finds gold. Jigs tells Raquim that he would have sufficient money by now to return to where he came from. When asked where that is, Raquim says he cannot tell him.

Choleng tells Jigs that Raquim and Amihan are witches, supporting her claims with Raquim's extraordinary luck in finding gold and Amihan's affinity with birds. Jigs jokes that she must also be seeing a witch in the mirror.

Minea returned from the human world. Gurna finds out that she keeps the key as a bracelet.
