I was walking along the sidewalk. The cold foggy mist hitting my face. It was depressing weather but I found it relaxing. I walking to a small Hole-In-The-Wall type cafè.
I like to come here and read, its nice to get out of the house and away from my mother for awhile. I love the woman but she lives to annoy the hell out of me.
Always stressing me to meet new people and have a better social life. I end up apologizing to her for not having very good people skills. I apologize way to much.
"Hey babe." I looked up from my book. I was currently reading To Kill A Mocking Bird for the fifth time, one of my faves, I catch a glimps of whom is speaking to me.
"What do you want Sawyer?" I asked rolling my eyes. "Oh babe don't be that way. Why don't you ever talk to me, like ever?" he asked. "Because you always get in my way."
He sighed his blue eyes looking into my dark brown ones as he smirks slightly.
"We're going to a party tonight." He said. "We are?" I asked. "I heard your mom talking to my mom saying she wishes you'd get out more, so I'm taking you out." He smiled.
Sawyers mom and my mom are attached at the hip, been that way since highschool and Sawyer has been inlove with me since we were like, two?
"Did your mom set you up to this?" I asked him. "No Edella, its funny you think I'd I actually think I'd listen to my mom." He smiled. I sighed deeply. "Well parties aren't my thing...." I said.
"They are now. You're going. Ill pick you up at eight, wear something tight." he laughed and took my boom walking away with it.
I rolled my eyes getting up from my comfortable booth in the corner.
I walked out of the cafè. I had to pick out an outfit for a stupid party with stupid drug addicts and drunk men. I don't even want to go. But I know if I don't Sawyer will drag me there.
