Edella's P.O.V

I woke up in the comfort of my own bed. The smell of dope and beer present on my clothing from the night before. I don't know how I got home. After that guy tried to hurt me I kind of blurred out. I remember Sawyer saying some soothing words, thats it.

I went downstairs. My mother shot up from the couch mad as fuck.

"Seventeen! You're seventeen Edella. I let you go out with an older man." She said. "What happened?" I asked her. "Sawyer said you got fucking drugged! And almost raped.!"

"Im sorry..." I replied. Her Eyes soften. "Its okay...Just go to bed ill bring you breakfast soon." She said.

I headed back upstairs to my room. I heard rocks being thrown at my window lightly. I look to see Sawyer.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him. "I wanted to talk to you. Im sorry for taking you to that party, I fucked up. Your mom and my mom are extremely pissed with me at this point and I don't want you to be the same." he told me.

"I don't remember last night Sawyer." I said. "Yeah I know. And I'm sorry for that Ed."

I rolled my eyes, hearing it all before. I've been on this rollercoaster with Sawyer since my sixteenth birthday.

Back then we were close and he didn't hang with all those bad people. But on my sixteenth birthday he took me and my bestfriend at the time, Emaya, To a party in San Francisco. A place neither me nor Emaya have traveled to.

It was at a club and Sawyer got us in. He was eighteen at the time and could legally get In; I guess he had connections if he could get some girls, who are new at being sixteen, into a night club like this.

He showed us the the back where a boy with thick eyebrows sat, a girl on his lap.

I saw him last night too, Thinking back I figured I knew him somewhere. Danny.

Danny took me home that night and he was my first time. I was wasted so I didn't remember it which made me feel like a total piece of shit.

Sawyer apologized the next day and ever since he's fucked up, but something in his blue eyes and soft smile keep telling me to trust him.

"Its okay..."
