Avery's POV

Flashback to last chapter..

We finally got to the top and I admired the view, but the view when I turned around was more mesmerizing.

It was Jacob, on one knee, asking me to marry him..

"Yes."

Smiling, he got up and kissed me, and that was the best one yet.

Everyone was cheering and clapping and we smiled and started walking down the steps.

"That was awesome." I said.

"I was a nervous wreck if you didn't tell, and the ring was stabbing my leg all day." He laughed and showed me the Mark.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" I died of laughter.

"Yea I think." He laughed and stumbled down the stairs.

After about 10 minutes we finally got to the bottom of the tower and started walking to the car.

"Was that the big surprise?" I asked.

"Yea." He said and turned on the radio.

Today worn me out so I decided to take a nap.
