part 5

-Kyle’s POV-

Papunata ako ngayon sa restaurant where I'm going to meet the girl that I’m going to be engaged with, as well as her family. And  I really hate this set-up! 

If it were not just because of my promise to my mom hindi ko to gagawin.

Papasok ako ng restaurant ng may narinig ako

“ I can absolutely pay kaso lang I was robbed , kinuha nila ang phone at wallet ko. If you could just let me use youre phone, kayang-kaya ko bayaran yang kinain ko 800 pesos is not a problem”

 “luma na yang palusot mo miss”

“Gosh! Cant you be more narrow minded, I told you just let me use youre phone“

“alam mo miss kung wala kang pera sana hindi ka na lang kumain dito”

Naglagay ako ng isang libo sa table what a cheap restaurant.

“keep the change” at naglakad na ako papunta sa table nila ni dad but I can still hear what the girl said

“no, give me the change”

“excuse me mister!” she shouted

“what?” I said as I faced her, pero parang nagulat siya ngmakita niya ako.

“ito na yung change mo”

“I don’t need that, diba sinabi ko na kanina na keep the change”

“kahit na” sabi niya sabay lagay ng pera sa bulsa ko

“and by the way thank you don’t worry if we meet again babayaran kita the next time we meet” sabi niya habang naglalakad papalayo

I think familiar ang mukha at boses niya. Well nevermind.

I walked to the table kung saan nakaupo si dad, Umupo  ako sa upuan na katabi niya.

“ito pala yung anak ko si Kyle Nathan, and sila si Tita Camille at Tito Josh mo, yung anak nila nag CR muna ”sabi ni dad

I just looked at them

“ang gwapo naman pala ng anak mo, kumpare” tita Camille

“hahaha, kaya ng bagay sila ng anak mo” sabi ni dad

“oh, heto na pala siya” tito Josh

When I turned to look at her, I was shocked at the same time captivated. She is pretty ang angelic ng mukha niya and most of all she looked like my mom.

-end of kyle’s POV-

-Katelynn’s POV-

Andito ako ngayon sa CR, kinakabahan talaga ako.

Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale

You can do it Katelynn kaya mo yan.

“oh, heto na pala siya” sabi ni dad

And with that he turned around. And my heart feels like its going to explode. How can he have this effect on me? Silly it may sound pero mahal ko siya, I’ve been loving him without him knowing my existence. Pathetic right? Pero ganun siguro pag nagmamahal ka.

The dinner went ok, my parents and Mr. Hernandez just talked about different things including the details about the engagement. While Kyle is just quiet the whole time until it ended.
