Bonus Story: Seeking Your Heart

so this is the first bonus story :3 enjoy~ its meant to be for valentines day but its a late update haha XP its kind of random :3

Third Person P.O.V

The sun shone brightly on the couples' faces. They smiled at each other. Unfortunately, they only could enjoy their lives for such a short moment.

"We're looking for the Shard of Snow now right?" The female said. She was blonde and was wearing a top and skirt which showed her curves.

"Yes. It should be in this area." Her male partner replied. He had brown hair and was also wearing a loose shirt and jeans.

Not far away, Ashe was hiding among the bushes. She knew that the couple over there were pretending to be a couple, but they really weren't. Although, who knows? Maybe they did have some affection for each other. Anyways, the Shard of Snow... It was Ashe's duty to protect it.

"Perfect disguise huh. Valentine's Day. Two spies pretending to be a couple in a village. Nothing could go wrong right?" Ashe thought. She followed them to the hidden keep which was disguised around rocks. She watched them pry it open and slowly enter it.

Taking in a deep breath, Ashe entered the keep as well. Inside, dust filled the air and barely any sunlight managed to get through. Somehow, she always had that nostalgic feeling whenever she was in here.

Ashe stuck close to the shadows, keeping a close eye on the couple.

"It's here...the Shard of Snow." The female said. "All we have to do now is take it and represent it to our boss.."

"And our lives will return back to normal.." The male finished. "We can live our lives in peace after all this is over."

"Sorry that I have to end your relationship here.." Ashe thought. It was hard for Ashe to do this because she knew what it felt like to be alone. She had to spend another Valentine's Day by herself. For many years, she wished that there would be someone by her side. Someone who would be a part of her heart and who would share memories with her.

Seeing this couple almost reaching their freedom made Ashe sad. What was worse was that she was the one who had to end it. Slowly and silently, she aimed her arrow at the male companion whose hand was almost touching the shard.

"I shall be your cupid." Ashe said quietly and let go of the arrow as it flew straight into his heart.

"SERITH!!" The female yelled as her eyes widened in shock when she saw her partner fall to the ground, a pool of blood around him. "No. No..This can't be happening? WHO'S THERE?! WHY?!"

Ashe left the keep with no reply, leaving the girl alone as she cuddled Serith in her lap, crying. There was no need in killing her. Ashe knew that the girl wasn't going to bother getting the shard anymore. Her love for Serith had taken over and she didn't care about the shard anymore.

"I wish I had a love which was as strong as their's. Someone who would give their everything to you.." Ashe thought as she looked up to the clear blue sky. Will she ever have a love like that?
