Hey hey people. I'm quite guilty to say I've kind of given up hope on this book but then, I had a notification and it said, somebody voted for Chapter 4 of this book! I'm so happy! I thought no one liked this book. Apparently not. If you like this book and is glad that I'll be writing it again, go thank @Ravenclaw_Marauder
Well then... Hope you enjoy this!
Sapphire Waters:
If I said it wasn't dull these days then I'd be lying. It's been a week since I've been let out of the Hospital Wing. A week since I read the memory.
And a week since Ava, Lils and I argued.
Avalia and I stuck to each other more and Lily did the same with Severus. "We're better off without them." Ava muttered then.
I had sighed. How could I be so blind that I couldn't see how Lily and Avalia disliked each other? Shaking my head, I entered the common room with Ava. The four boys were seated in the couches of the empty room, attempting to look like they weren't waiting which they so obviously were.
Black glanced up the second we entered and told me to "get over here". I glanced at Ava. "If anything happens, it's yours to blame." I told her and together, we strode over. "Black." I said. "Waters." He replied. "We've been waiting for you." Black told me.
"You've been waiting here. You forced us to stay." Lupin protested. Black gave him a murderous glare.
I gave Ava a look then turned back to the boys. "If what I've heard and seen is true-"
"It is." Potter assured me.
"Then, why are you guys so formal to me and calling me by my last name?" I asked. "You called Padfoot by his last name." Pettigrew pointed out. "I have a right to be suspicious." I argued. Ava rolled her eyes in a this-is-pointless way and told Potter to, and I quote, "shove aside" to which he grumbled at, but moved to sit next to Black, leaving one couch available.
I sat cautiously on the sofa, still looking at the boys with mistrust. "Look," Lupin sighed, "If you're mad at us, we're sorry."
You're sorry? I scoffed quietly at myself. It'd take more than an apology to make up for what you did to me. Even from year 1, you started bullying me. I did absolutely nothing to you except for telling Potter to leave Lily alone. You bullied me mercilessly. You bullied my friend, Severus. We did nothing to you guys yet you scorned us. We are not your play toys! We are real, living and breathing humans. We have feelings and emotions. I'm sure Ava has told you I've been trying to commit suicide every moment no one's looking. I won't ask how she even bloody knew that but merlin's pants! You expect me to forgive you guys after what you did? Yes, I know helped me out with Lucius Malfoy but so what? That's just a one-time thing and besides, how would I know if this is a prank!? I mentally screamed in my head.
My palms bore the marks of my nails, tear streaked down my face, the scars of my attempted suicide were revealed. The Marauders and Ava looked at me in shock. "Saph... You said that in our head. You shouted that in our head. I think you better run." Ava said with an undertone.
With my tears still running freely, I fled for the girl's dormitory, sobs wracked my body as I cried.
I cried for the time I was bullied, I cried for Caitlin, I cried for my confusion right now, and my frustration because after all, crying it out is better than hiding it.
Avalia Jones:
"I-I-" Lupin started. "Save it, Remus. You don't know what she went through. It was the hardest time. She came to Hogwarts hoping to find a way to escape her awful household but when she arrived, she found herself craving for home more. You won't understand the pain she went through, how she screamed in the dorm when she thought no one was there, how she let her blood drip onto the washroom floor, how she cried herself to sleep every night."Because of you guys. And her homesickness. This seems unrealistic to you guys, of course, but you don't know what happens in her house. Her father would beat her, her mother scorned her, her sister used to treat her like shit, forgive my language but it's true. She had no friends. None from even her primary school.
"Lily, Severus and I, we were her first friends. She had never experienced true friendship or love among a family so it was natural for her to feel emotional when the four boys who bullied her wants to be her friend." I paused to give them a pointed look. They had guilt plastered across their faces but I continued, "I don't know why I'm telling you guys this much, it's not like we were even friends before this but I guess it's because you need to truly understand her, before you can become her friend.
"When Lily and I first became her friend, she used to be suspicious of us and we had many arguments. But after many confrontations, we understood her. What she had to deal with at home, and we even found out a secret of hers, which I will not tell you." I added. "My point is, I hope you will understand the circumstances Saph is under and don't give up if she yells at you for the first few times.
"Now that you aren't hexing my friends, I can see the good in you guys. But you can't expect the same from her. Just think about what you did to her from year one to now. The start of year five." I looked at the boys, meeting each of their gazes.
"Think about it tonight and try again tomorrow. Perhaps, this is too much for you to process, but keep trying and eventually, it will work out." I told them. "But how?" Sirius asked, unable to hold in the question.
"That's for me to see and you to find out." I laughed. He glared at me and I smiled.
"Just keep positive and everything will be fine. Goodnight, boys." I offered, swinging myself off the couch and headed up the dormitory without waiting for a reply even though I can hear choruses of "Goodnight"s behind me. I smiled to myself. I hope I helped both Saph and the boys. They don't seem so bad after all.
And the worst writer award goes to *drumroll* Ms Katrina Heathers.
Guys, I'm so so sorry. I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
