Jungkook was shocked from Taehyung's voice. He haven't heard it so much time and listening to it again made him lose his mind because his voice got even more beautiful and soulful than it was.

The lyrics were so meaningful and it was basically the best song for their little yet sad life story. He listened to every word Taehyung sang, and he even started to tear up, but kept it to himself.

When Taehyung broke down after he finished the song, he immediately took him into his embrace. He didn't even need to ask why he was crying, because he knew. He knew that he meant every word that got out of his mouth.

"You know, at my first day in Daegu, there was this boy that played this song for me. Since that day, I downloaded this song to my mp3 player and listened to it every day while thinking about you. Every time I heard it at school, everyone asked me why I was crying, but I just kept quiet and mumbled your name under my breath several times" Taehyung said after his cries calmed down a bit.

"I know, I actually heard this song too sometimes. It was in MTV in one of the days and since then I kept on listening to it. You sang it ten times prettier than the original version tho. With all the respect and honor I have for Backstreet Boys" he laughed.

"Really? I didn't think it would turn out like this. After all these years I didn't sing I thought my voice won't even bother coming out" he chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.

"You sing amazing Tae, don't ever stop" Jungkook said as he looked at the older lovingly, and Taehyung smiled widely.

"Thank you bunny, but now it's your turn to sing" he smirked.

"Oh my dear goodness that nickname!! I missed it so much!"

Jungkook screamed excitedly, making all the people around them to look at him like he was an alien that just landed and got out of his spaceship.

"Sorry" he said quietly and giggled.

"Come on bunny, sing for me. I want to hear your voice and check if it stayed the same"

"Okay fine I'll sing, but it's something I wrote when I thought about you so you better like it" he said and smiled proudly at himself.

"You're writing songs?? Okay wow now that is very surprising"

Taehyung laughed, surprised. The reason he was so surprised is because when they were young, Jungkook didn't really like anything that had anything to do with a pencil or pen, and a paper. He just hated writing.

"I was depressed okay? It was a few weeks before I decided I want to end my life so I put all of my feelings into that song"

Jungkook said with his head down, remembering how he felt when he wrote that song.

"Oh I'm sorry kook... I didn't mean to-" Jungkook stopped him.

"It's okay hyung. Can I start?"

"Yeah sure! Go ahead"

Taehyung said excitedly and rested his head on his hands, waiting for Jungkook to start. He cleared his throat as he closed his eyes for a few seconds to make sure he remembers all the lyrics, and started.

Jungkook tried his best not to cry while he sang, but when he finished it, his tears were stronger than him and he just broke down on Taehyung, who were a crying mess.

He felt his tears building up in his eyes when he sang the first verse, and when Jungkook finished the second verse he just gave up and started crying, though he listened and took in every single word.

After their cries calmed down a bit and they could talk normally without their voice cracking in the middle of the word, Taehyung was the first to talk.

"Jungkook, I'm so sorry I left you like that. I regret it more that anything else I did in my life... Is there something I can do to make you feel better and just forget about these shitty six years?" He said as he held both of Jungkook's hands.

"Tae, it's okay. It was in the past and we already passed this fucked up period together. What matters now is that both of us are together again like the old times. Just promise me in thing. Never ever in your life leave me again, and if you would, take me with you. I promise the same thing to you"

"You can be sure I'll never leave you again kookie. I've had enough from these six long as fuck years. I promise I'll never ever leave you again"

They both smiled at each other and walked around the park, talking and enjoying every second with the love of their life.
