[URGENT, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU READ ON TO CHAPTER 4: Hello everyone, I'm finally back! I don't even have an excuse honestly. BUT, what I DID do, was edit chapters 2 and 3. Chapter 2 has very little editing but I still did change quite a bit and I re-wrote chapter 3 ENTIRELY. So PLEASE go and re-read it so you will know what's happening when you read this next chapter.]

Key: [Y/F/C] - Your Favorite Color & [Y/N] - Your Name.

"Jason, where did you go?" You call with a giggle, looking around the campsite with curiosity as you look down at the small map layout of Camp Crystal Lake. The summer sun had just begun to take a strike at you as you suddenly began to feel warm and sweaty. Deciding to set out to not only find Jason, but a shady tree - you began your journey.

Beginning to walk forward in the direction of the cabins, you were about halfway to your destination when you ran straight into someone. Looking up, you use your hand to cover your eyes from the sun beaming directly into them. You grin widely and wave at who you ran into.

"Pamela!" You giggle, barely able to see her due to the sun nearly blinding you. Pamela grins down at you and gives a small wave back. You hand the map to her and stand on your tiptoes as you peek over her arm to see. "Well hello, (Y/N)! Have you seen Jason?" She asks with curiosity, hoping to get an answer out of you as she glances at the map.

"Nope. We're playing hide n' seek!" You say, placing your hands behind your back as you look up at her. "Don't tell Jason, but I was hoping you knew where he was!" You whisper, just in case Jason was close by. Pamela laughs and shakes her head, handing the map back to you. "Well, unfortunately I have not seen him, but when you do - do me favor and send him to the dining hall!" She teases, patting your cheek and walking off, earning another silly giggle from you.

'She's so nice.' You thought, finally able to make your way to the cabins. Multiple trees surrounded the cabins, but not too many to where it looked like the woods or anything. "Well, it is a possibility Jason is here. But he's sneaky and likes to move around a lot to mess with my head. And it isn't fair!" You whine to yourself, placing your hands on your hips as you took a minute to look around.

To your luck, just as you turned your head you saw Jason running over to another tree. You immediately bolt after him, ready to reach out and grab him when you stupidly trip on the root of a tree. You stumbled straight into Jason's back, the weight of yourself knocking him over as well. The two of you groan and you hastily apologize, rolling off of him onto your back - the sun shining through the trees right into your eyes. Soon you both bust out laughing, knowing neither of you were hurt. "Well, I won!" You brag, poking him in the shoulder as you helped each other up. "That's just because you cheat." Jason teases, earning a suspicious glance from you. "I caught you fair and square, buddy! You're just mad cause I caught ya!"

Jason scoffed playfully and grabbed your arm, beginning to take the path back to the main grounds. "I can walk ya know!" You grumble to him, grinning as he let go. "I wanna show you something." He suddenly says, looking back at you briefly. You stare at him for a minute, unsure of what he meant by that. "Like what?" You ask skeptically, earning a childish laugh from Jason. "You're so impatient, just wait, woman!" You smile and decide to go with it, knowing that if you argued it wouldn't change a thing.

Upon reaching the main grounds after a short walk, Jason began leading you to his cabin that he shared with his Mom. You furrow your eyebrows in confusion, still not questioning anything. He opens the door and drags you in, closing it behind him. "Close your eyes, and no peeking!" Jason tells, sitting you down on the foot of his bed. "That's not creepy at all." You tease, earning an eye roll from Jason before you finally follow his directions and close your eyes.

"Okay, now hold out your left hand."
"That's really specific."
"Shut up!"

"Okay, okay!" You giggle, keeping your eyes shut tight as you hold out your left hand to Jason. You felt something cold, which turned out to be a ring, slip onto your finger. You feel your face turn red as Jason says you can open your eyes.

You look down at your hand and grin widely. A simple silver band with your favorite color diamond in the middle. You stare up at Jason, slightly flustered. "Happy (early/late) birthday!" He states with a proud grin, pulling you into a big hug. You hesitate before hugging him back tightly. You didn't think Jason knew that the ring was supposed to be on your RIGHT hand unless you were married, but you didn't wanna ruin the moment over something that silly.

You both pull away from the hug and you can't help but tear up. "Aw gee, don't cry (Y/N). I thought you liked it?" Jason frowns, putting a hand on your shoulder. You shake your head quickly. "No, I love it! It's just I didn't expect to get anything for my birthday!" Jason grins and pulls you into another hug and you don't hesitate to hug back.

A sudden knock on the door causes you and Jason both to jump and pull away quickly. As you turn around, Pamela walks in, grinning. "Well I see you found each other!" Pamela says, looking down towards your hand before giving Jason a thumbs up and wink. You giggle as you hear him groan out of embarrassment. "Moom!" He whines, obviously now flustered.

"Alright, alright. I'm done teasing. (Y/N), why don't you come with me. Jason wasn't the only one who got you a little something." She says, motioning with her hand for you to follow. You looked at Jason and he nodded, the two of you following Pamela out of the cabin, down the steps, and to the dining hall. "It ain't much, but it's better than nothing." She adds, leading you to a table at the dining hall which had a simple birthday cake sitting in the middle of it.

As you got a closer look, it was a one layer cake with (Y/F/C) icing and the words 'Happy 11th birthday, (Y/N)!' etched onto it in white icing. It was rather simple and you could tell it was home made, but it sure looked delicious. You grin widely and throw your arms around Pamela's waist, hugging her tightly. As you pull away you look back at Jason who shared the same goofy smile as you did. "Thank you!"  You exclaim, looking to both of them. "I don't even know what to say." You laugh, following Pamela's directions as she instructed you to sit down.

You watched as she pulled out a lighter from her pocket, flicking the lid open and using her thumb to roll the trigger. You watched in awe as she lit the candle, hardly noticing as they both began to sing the classic 'happy birthday' song in your honor. Everything seemed to blur as you blew out the candles. You watched Pamela cut the cake into pieces. She had made sure you were the first to get your cut. After all, you were the birthday girl.

Everything from there on out seemed to blur. You wanted to remember more - and you knew you did, but something was wrong. The more you thought about it, the more your memories started to fade. It scared you. Were Jason and Pamela finally fading from your memories - regardless of all the pleasant times you had with them?  The thought alone scared you but it seemed like there was nothing you could do about it. Then it clicked - you were waking up.

[Yooo - why do I keep leaving you people on cliff hangers? My bad. Some reason I just love messing with you. (; Anywayyysss, I'm so sorry about the delay. I'm me so I suck booty at sticking to any kind of schedule.]

[Also again, if you decided to be a little shit and didn't read what I said at the very beginning of the chapter, please - PLEASE, re-read chapters 2-3. I did some heavy editing in chapter 2 and I re-wrote chapter 3 completely. So please do yourself a favor and re-read so you know what's going on.]
