"Loki, if father finds out about this, there will be no telling what he'll do." "Thor, please. I know what I am doing. Now, if you'll  excuse me, I need to go check on my patient." Loki excused himself from the room. Down the ancient golden archways of Asgard, he walked  towards his chambers which was down a dark, cold, hall. The heavy double doors groaned as they were pulled on. A strip of light appeared only for a second before the room plunged into darkness once again. Laying in the black sheets, a small figure. Horns poked out from underneath. It was still wrapped in its black cloak. "Hello, love. How are you feeling today?" Loki whispered silently to the sleeping body. It answered him with silence. He carefully sat by  the edge of the bed. "I'm doing well. I hope you wake up soon. There's a lot we need to talk about." Again, only silence replied. "We will have our time, love. I need to return back to All Father. I shall return soon after. Sleep well, love." Loki said just before giving a small peck on the horns. He, then, quickly exited the chambers.

The dinning hall was full of laughter. Tables were filled with such delicious foods and wine. Maidens sat on the laps of powerful warriors as they told stories of their great battles. Sitting at one end of a stretched out table, sat Odin, his wife, Frigga, and their two sons, Thor and Loki. While Odin and Thor sat with massive mug, talking greatly about ancient  wars, Loki sat silently. Very rarely would he talk or smile faintly to someone. "Loki, may I have a word, please?" Frigga asked, getting up. "Uh...yes. Of course." He replied, getting up too. They walked quietly through the crowds of people until they reached the balcony. The night was warm and filled with stars. "Loki, dear, what has your mind so occupied this evening?" She asked. "Um...I have been watching someone for a some time and just recently she was left alone by her family. So, I...I brought her here. She's in my chambers right now." Loki admitted. "I know son. I've been observant. Tell me, how is she?" "She's still not responding, however I do talk to her a little." "Come. Bring me to her." Dodging past the gaurds, Frigga and Loki made their to his chambers. The doors open to reveal an empty bed. The sheets had been ripped off and lay the floor as well as two of the pillows. "Where could she have gone?" Loki asked, searching his room. "She couldn't have gone too far, especially if she's injured. Quick." Frigga told, lightly jogging out of the room.

Dark. Light. Dark. Light. Then light and lastly dark again. This cycle portrays the sun and moon at its best. It reminds one of life and death. Death. The nocturnal stage of life. However, one can not exist without the other. For me, it would seem as if I'm still alive. Death wouldn't come and it won't come as long as my 'rescuer' continues to check in on me every so often. I've been staying in his room since I got here. He's talked to me and I haven't replied back. He came in earlier today, telling me about some businesses he needed to attend to. He also said we have to talk. Then...he kissed my horns. His cool lips sent a shocking sensation through me. After that, he left and hasn't been back for a while. Now, I lay here waiting for him or anyone to come. But no one has yet. With some of my strength, I managed to get up, but not before taking the sheets and pillows with me. The hard floors were cold against my feet as I cross the room. It was very dark, too. The doors seemed to be made of gold. They quietly sqeaked open and I slipped through into the hallway before someone spotted me. The architectural style was magnificent. The details to the molding looked out of this world. The shapely columns and pillars seductively held together as if they were one. The air bathed in the late afternoon sun that poured in through glass-less windows. For a split second, I completely forgot where I was. The beauty of this place was so awe inspiring. Heavy footfalls snapped me back to reality. Quickly turning the corner just in time, I dodged two guards. They were wearing shiny armour with matching helmets. Long spear-like weapons were gripped tightly in their hands. Dark colored capes flowed behind them. I went down another hall, this time slightly darker. My feet slapped loudly against the ground as I made my way to the end of the hallway. I was then stopped by a pair of doors. I was caught off guard by what was on the other side. A hall full of people. They were laughing, joking, eating, telling each other stories. After shutting the door behind me, I slipped through without anyone saying a word. I then passed a table with a young man with blond hair. He sat next to an older man with grey hair and an eyepatch. They both gave off thunderous laughs that vibrated the floor. I passed by them quickly and back out to another hall. Taking a series of hallways, I was soon met with a dead end. "Hey! What are you doing here?!" A gaurd shouted at me from behind. A second guard joined him, then followed by a third and a fourth. Soon, the hall was full of guards. They had their spears and were holding me against the wall while each of them were yelling something about taking me to All Father. "Stand down!!" Some said over all of them. They dropped their weapons. "No one is allowed to touch her." Suddenly, a man in a green cape showed up at my side. I tried to step away, but his arm wrapped around my waist tightly. "But, your highness, she's an intruder." A guard spoke up. "She is my guest. She just got lost, that's all. Go! Return to your posts." He said. The room soon cleared out. "I am terribly sorry for that." He said sweetly. I didn't reply. I continued to stare into his blue eyes. My head started feeling light as my knees gave out. "Oh my." He scooped me up. "Here. Let me take you to the nurses. They should know what to do."
