"Lucas!" A familiar voice screamed. Lucas jumped up. He looked at his best friend since preschool, Zach. "Wait. What the fuck why are you here?" Lucas said as he checked his clock. It was 1:24 am. "We're going to a party. There's going to be girls." Zach said and winked. Lucas laughed. "You know girls don't like me." He replied as he got out of bed. "Whatever." Zach answered and turned around as Lucas got changed. "So Henry and Jake are outside." Zach continued with his back to Lucas. "You decent?" He asks. Lucas hummed in reply. Zach turned around. "Let's go."

The fourteen year old boys ride their bikes down the dark road. "My parents are gonna kill me." Henry mumbles. Lucas laughs. Jake slowly down to fix his backpack. A small noice was heard on the side of the forest. Lucas snaps his head in that direction. "What was that?" He whispers. A small whimper came from the same direction. Zach appears at his side. "What was what?" He asks. Lucas kept his attention in the direction of the noise as he slowly got off of his bike. A loud crunch was heard. "Lucas what the hell?" Henry whisper-shouted. "Toss me a flashlight." Lucas quietly demanded. "But-" Jake started. "Now." Lucas said sternly. Jake hopped off of his bike and took a flashlight out of the side and tossed it to Lucas. He fought it and shone it at the trees. Lucas slowly walked forward with his friends behind him. "Why are we making a big deal out of this small noise?" Henry whispers. "I didn't even hear anything." Zach responds. "Shut up." Lucas said. They waited quietly for thirty more second when a girl ran out from the darkness into the light. Everyone but Lucas gasped. She had a bloody nose and tears in her eyes. Her hair was wet and she was breathing heavily. There was a large bruise below her ear. Lucas finally snapped back to reality and grabbed the girls hand. "We have to help her." He said without breaking eye contact with the girl. Lucas pulled the girl onto his bike and started to ride back to his house with his friends close behind. "You can't just pick up a random girl and take her to your house, man!" Jake yells. Lucas turns around. "Shut the hell up!" He shouts. The girl flinched. Lucas softly puts his hand below her knee. "I'm sorry." He mutters and continues to ride his bike.
