I was at work when my mom called to tell me some terrible news. My uncle had died. I was shocked and very sad. Hearing about the loss had really affected me. A few weeks later, I was talking to my sister and she mentioned that my aunt and uncle were doing something. "But...He's dead," I said, puzzled. "No," my sister said, "He's not." I called my mom and she told me the same thing. He wasn't dead. To this day, I'm still not sure if I imagined it or if it really happened. It still freaks me out.
