After a few weeks of living in Gotham, Steve was enjoying his time. Even though the streets were like nothing he had seen before, dark and dingy. The crime was unbelievable, according to the news, but by the look of the place, Steve was not surprised. He was still enjoying it though, because of the girl next door, well, upstairs. He didn't take much notice of the saying, till now. He was sitting on the floor in the middle of the room, deciding what to do. Looking around to see what he needs to do, there was food in the cupboard from shopping the other day, the furniture he needs, even though it wasn't much and all the entertainment he needs due to the crime infested streets of Gotham.

After some thought, Steve decided to go for a run. He grabs a t-shirt and sweatpants and throws them on as he heads towards the front door. He was about to walk upstairs, but changed his mind. Harley had been with her friend he only knew as Poison Ivy for the last two weeks, a girls retreat apparently. He ran down the stairs, about to open the entrance door. Suddenly, there was a silhouette at the door and the noise of a key turning in the lock. The door swung open to Harley standing, holding a potted plant in one hand and her bag in the other. She smiles when she notices Steve, "Long time, no see." Steve instantly holds out his hands to help Harley with her bags. She hands over her bags and smiles, while holding up the plant, "Ain't she pretty!" He was just so happy to see her, he couldn't stop smiling, "Yes, you are." She moved the plant to one side to look Steve in the eyes, "What did you say?" He blushes, "I'm going for a run, care to join?" Harley looked at him with excitement in her eyes, "Can I rollerblade, instead?" He laughs and nods in approval, "I'll be able to pull you along, if you like?" She starts walking upstairs, "With what? I have rope in my apartment." Steve followed her up the stairs, "That would work, might I ask, why do you have rope?" She looks back at him and winks, "For certain situations." Steve blushes and continues to follow her to her apartment.

Harley opens the door and places the plant on the floor, in the corner. She walks towards the bedroom, "I will only be a minute." Steve nods and places her bag down by the armchair. He walked over to the plant, it was round with small petals, which made it fill it out. It was red around the edges and slowly turned black the further into the middle. It reminded him of Harley, no wonder Ivy chose this particular flower. Harley walked over to where Steve was standing, "It's called the Dahlia flower." Steve turns to see her wearing a tank top, the right side was black with a star on the chest and the left side was red with a diamond on the chest. Her shorts were half black on the left side and half red on the right side with four small black diamonds, also her left knee high sock was black with two red stripes at the top and the right knee high sock was red with a black star at the top. The right foot of her roller skates are red with a black diamond facing outwards and the left foot of her roller skater is black with a red diamond facing outwards. Harley was wearing elbow and knee pads, also gloves to protect her, they followed the red and black colour system. She smiles while walking out the door, "Let's go!" Steve put the palm of his hand to his forehead, "Aren't you forgetting something?" She looks herself up and down, unable to see what she was missing. "The rope?" He asks, chuckling lightly to himself. "Ooops." She grins sheepishly before running back in towards her bedroom. After a little time, she came back out and handed the rope to Steve, "You can tie me up downstairs." Winking as she skips out the apartment holding her rollerblades in one hand, he follows after her, closing the door behind him.

They were standing outside their apartment building while Harley finished off pulling her rollerblades onto her feet with all her might, after that Steve tied the rope around his waist and then Harley's. He pulled it between two hands to see the strength of the rope, "It's strong and is a large amount of rope. This should work great." Harley rolls around in excitement, he laughs, "I didn't pull it too tight, Miss Quinn?" Harley rolls up to him so they are face to face and rolls her eyes, "It's Harley! Also, it's fine." She rolls around in circles with him in the middle. Steve smiles, "I take it you are ready, Miss Quinn? I mean Harley." She nods, unable to speak from laughing and screaming in joy as Steve pulls her along through the numerous streets of Gotham. They pass Devil's Square, Chinatown, Robinson Park, Cherry Hill, Miller Harbour, St. Michael's Square and Wayne Enterprise. After rollerblading for what seems like a few miles, Harley asks, "Aren't you tired?" Steve looks back, briefly while still running, "No, Miss Qu... Harley, I can do this all day." Harley looks at him with a lewd smile, "Oh, you can go all day you say." Steve stops mid run and turns to her, "What do you mean by that, Harley?" Harley was far too busy trying to slow down, than to answer his question.

Suddenly, the rope snapped and Harley went flying down a hill at high speed. Steve chases after her, he just managed to catch up. When a man walking past nudged him into the road, he could hear a faint, "He he he he." Coming from the strange figure walking past him. Thinking nothing of it, he continues on to save Harley. The adrenaline is pumping through his veins as he races down the street towards her. He just catches up with her before she heads straight into traffic. Steve grabs the rope around her waist, which pulls her back, just in time before a large truck drives past. He holds her making sure she is alright. She puts her arms around Steve and is shaking from the shock. He brushes the hair out of her face, "Are you alright Harley?" She squeezes him tight, "I am ok. I have you looking out for me." They smile at each other, enjoying the moment. He unties the rope from her waist and his. Steve wraps it around his arm and shoulder, then ties it in a knot. He looks over at her, "I think it's time we went home."
