I forced a grin. I tried to be upbeat, but reality has always hit me hard. A thousand questions swirled in my head, too many to keep track of. I stumbled, feeling light headed, before falling to the ground. My breath became rapid and my eyes got glassy. A tear slid down my cheek, and even though I normally don't like to be touched, I felt fingers run slightly through my hair. I turned and saw Mark. He tried to shush me, make me feel better. "It's ok, shh." I wanted to ask him so many questions he couldn't answer, but it felt like my throat was lodged. Then, something clicked. I reminded myself who I was. I remembered that the guys would need me, and I couldn't go down at the beginning, crying. I steadied my beathing, dried my eyes. I shakily got to my feet and looked at the guys. I toughened up and said, "You know what? I won't just stay here and cry about our problems. But if we're going to survive, we'll need a plan."
