I came home, dropped my bag on the floor, and angrily slammed the door shut. I opened my computer and started browsing files, data.

How could they---!

Damn those Deviants!

Out of frustration, I ran my hand through my hair. I might go crazy, at this rate. I clicked one folder open, and it held something. Those Deviants really want to end it this way. Through death? I can't believe them! This is war, but this is not an excuse for them to use this weapon. How disgusting!

I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and called Eunjin. "Eunjin." I called.

"Bin, it's late. Call some other time."

"Book me a shuttle to Earth. I have to tell this to the officials."

She scoffed, and it's like she's fully awake. "Finally, you decided on coming back! Which flight do you want to have?"

"The first flight."

"Assa! By the way, is it THAT boring in the Moon Base? I mean, it's much more boring here in Washington, and it's not like we have any orders from the higher-ups."

I groaned. Here she is again with her questions. "It's not. And assemble me a meeting with the President."

"Sure thing, Lieutenant. Hang up, you'll have your flight to Washington at 2300 hours, and it's 2000 hours already, so go to the mass driver, quickly."

I nodded, although she cannot see me. "Thank you."

"No problemo amigo. All for the Earth and the Fallaciers."

All for the Earth and the Fallaciers, huh?
